PF had a really great time on Saturday and Sunday. For those that did not stay or return for Sunday, you missed a great game. Both sides were pretty evenly matched and played very well. Not ONCE did I see any hacking or another un-sportsmanship conduct.
Playing against THOR and FOAD was a challenge and a treat; we have run together many times in the past, so it was nice to throw some plastic their way. It was obvious from the difficulty we had on the field the EDG had a PLAN, well done Warchild.
Special commendations to all of the Specialists on both sides, it’s a tough job and everyone did really well. Your efforts are key to the games mechanics.
On the MM site we had a number of great small team/groups that worked very well together and it was good to see everyone combined forces making up squads even if they didn’t know each other, this made the MM a very formidable force to deal with. I would like to recognize the MM groups on Sunday that stuck together after we rolled through the sand bunker and spent I don’t know a hour + looking for our green flag. No one took off to do their own thing and everyone worked very well together. We covered a lot of ground many times on the back field … staying focused “ON THE MISSSION” is a must. I would also like to recognize the small force that stayed back to guard our flag on Sunday, Phiz said you guys were super solid and that is high praise.
Rick, as always it was a great game and it’s amazing how much you can pull off with limited support. Here is a little AAR for you I know you’re always looking at way to make the games better. Thank you for a Great Weekend of Airsofting.
SUSTAIN:
-I like the semi-only rule, on Saturday only.
-Keeping everyone out of the buildings on Sunday
-Time in the spawn before the game to organized
-Spawn clocks
IMPROVE:
-We need the BIG all Team briefing on Saturday before heading to the field, this also provides time for Q&A and helped to clarify game mechanics that may have been missed.
-Better communication on the start times and other info while we are in the parking/camping area . Maybe leverage specific players to help “Herd the Cats.”
-Handbook and Maps out earlier … I understand that may not be possible due to the fact that attendance and field rules can cause a change to both.
There are rumors of a November game …. I hope that pans out.
