That was a good day of airsoft. I'm glad to see we got to change up the game instead of just force on force all day. The schedule moved a bit slowly, but there was plenty of game time. I foresee myself going to most airsoft games at Splat Action.

Had a wonderful time at this game. The people and the game play harkened back to the good ol' days of Splat Action, with the noticeable difference of a change in game type halfway through the day.
I like it when there is a lunch break in the middle of the day, but I know I'm in the minority on that one, and it really did fit with this as a solid breaking point between the force-on-force-no-objective game of the first half and the attack and defend portion of the second. Mikey runs a good, simple, fun game, and nothing at Splat Action this go around felt like i was going to fall through it or destroy it by running into it.
Some improvements I'd like to see are simply some props, and objectives that force the two sides to clash more often rather then becoming tree tumors in the center of the field.
Mithril didn't have to much problem with that, as we kept bashing heads with another group of similar size on the other team who were also PTFO. We spent more time dying, respawning, and shaking hands with enemy we just ran headlong into, then we did sitting around waiting for something to happen.

I give it a 7.5/10

I had a lot of fun at this game! There was a surprisingly good turnout, and a lot of good gameplay. It is great to finally get back onto the field at Splat Action, which has always been one of my favorite fields. The APC that made it on to the field was awesome, and made for some pretty intense moments.

All in all, everyone on Mithril had a great time, and we will be waiting for Mikey's next game at Splat Action. :o

Something I forgot to mention in my previous post... There were people who stood around outside the designated dead zone and that interfered with the people still playing. It was an unfair advantage to have your enemies give away their positions to shoot at people who were not in the game.

Some ideas for future games: capture the flag (either two-flag or a neutral center flag), bomb plant/defuse, king of the hill

Hey SMOREZ.,that's the first I've heard of that? Thanks for letting me know. Hope you still had fun on those last two games. Great to see you running your bolt.

Oh, I had a blast. This wasn't a hardcore milsim, so I didn't feel like it was a big issue, just something for players and admins to keep in mind. Running the bolt was fun, although it's temporary while I do some work on my AEG.

I had a good time. Perhaps next time keep an admin in the area the team has to defend to keep on eye on everything (safety and hits). Felt good to get out and play at Splat again. Also felt good doing a tactical belly flop in some ferns and then a barrel roll into a tree next ;)
