Variable, i know the components of a fire team. I think my OP wasn't written well enough on my part and I'll just ask a series of direct questions
1. How often are rockets used in the PacNW?
2. How often do events employ Urban/CQB other than the indoor arenas?
3. Does the price of a brand new airsoft rifle generally reflect the quality of it?
4. If you were to choose the roles a 2 fire teams what would it be based on multi-environment/situations?
(ie. team of a TLRM, RMAT, G, AR and the other a TLRM, DM, G, AR)
5. Do people employ sniper teams to airsoft as a tactical advantage?
I still will have many more questions

but i will stop right here. I would love to hear everyone's opinion/thoughts

I can talk about a few of these points but not all of them, however i will try to help as best I can.
1. How often are rockets used in the PacNW? Sorry to say I can't say too much on this one, but I will tell you this a rocket launcher system can be expensive and the rockets can get beat up fairly quickly and fly all screwy when shot, also it largely depends on the what the field allows to be played and how they allow there use... at least that's how it is down in here in FL it would not be too far of a stretch to think the fields up in PACNW have the same style rules.
3. Does the price of a brand new airsoft rifle generally reflect the quality of it? humm...well sort of the rule of thumb is this: any new AEG under 100 bucks is not worth plastic it's made with these are your walmart/k-mart guns they are all crap. AEG's In the 150 to 200ish dollar price range you will see metal gear boxes and plastic housing these can be but are not limited to JG,Dboys,CYMA ,A&K ect.. they are good starter AEG's and for the most part are good quality. The next step up is your high end stuff $250+ often times thise AEG's offer full metal gear box and metal housings they can take a real beating and are high quality. Echo1, Socom gear,Real sword, Toyko maru ect.. are your higher end brands.
4. If you were to choose the roles a 2 fire teams what would it be based on multi-environment/situations? IMO when I am squad lead M.E.T.T.C dictates what "roles" my fire team will play. I don't like to type cast my team members in to just one type of style of play. M.E.T.T.C (Mission, Enemy, Time , Terrain, Cover). Here is a quick example: Mission: cap enemy flag. Enemy: how many? 12 bad guys , Time: how long will it take my team to get to the objective, terrain what type of terrain will we be fighting in and Cover what kind of cover will this terrain provide.
5. Do people employ sniper teams to airsoft as a tactical advantage? ok I think the question should be do people use snipers correctly ? all too often times no and a lot of "snipers" often times do not fully understand the role beyond simple zomga! enemy's pew pew pew. With that being said It depends largely on how organized the game is. If it's a backyard skirmish or just a group of friends playing most likely not. If it's an open play day maybe but for the most part no. There may be a team or two but mostly it's both sides zerging one another until one side wins. If it's an event then it depends on the commander and the teams that show up. I have seen event commanders have their own Pocket snipers used for recon/overwatch or area/ equipment denial .
I hope this helps

There is no 'overkill.' There is only 'open fire' and 'I need to reload.
