I will not wear MARPAT. I would feel odd wearing a camo made only for Marines, especially if it had the EGA symbol in it.
1.) Not worth its weight in gold. Any uniform will get worn and used, and lose all resale value. Also most people play based on camouflage schemes, so if you like it, get it, but if you don't have a preference, get one of the standard patterns so you can play at larger games.
2.) I don't see why you'd feel odd wearing a camouflage made only for the Marines, but wouldn't mind wearing a camouflage made only for the navy SEALs and their assistants.
3.) It does not work that well. It is green, and digital with color differences, so it works. And it's not tan-based, so it works better than Multicam. But it is a copy of the Canadian digital pattern, and when the Marines chose a new pattern, they chose MARPAT over AOR2/NWU3/Green digi-seaweed.
4.) If you feel bad about wearing MARPAT because of the EGA, then the Navy symbol is in real AOR2. If you get real AOR2, it's not authorized for civilians to have. If you have a clone of real AOR2, then you're using gear made by Chinese who stole American military intellectual property.
With all that being said, it doesn't look half bad, and there are a ton of cheap places coming out with it due to SEAL popularity.
