Thanks also for the patience. I had a great time and will continue to refine things to make it even more fun and challenging! Stand by for the next mission...
So the Terrorists have been defeated and the Plutonium has been recovered by the JOTC forces. Humanity is spared from a huge dirty bomb attack for the moment. But we all know they will strike again.....Stand By.......
Brown team went on to some well played wins during capture the flag after the OP. I saw some great play out there today. People diving, rolling, crawling, falling. Well played everyone!
I think my only suggestion for that field (if you choose to use it again) would be to go out and mark out the playing area you want to allow the use of for the game you are running. Being wooded like it is, it was pretty easy to get slightly disoriented where you were, and wander off the intended playing field, since there isn't any real way to know where it is without playing the area a lot. Maybe just do orange tape around a tree every 20' or so to mark your intended boundry and then you have a defined area that no one can get lost in (unless they really really suck at paying attention), and then you can make maps to give people a rough idea of what is going on, to avoid needing to walk people around.
Very wise of you to walk us around a bit though, I have a feeling we would have lost a few people otherwise.
Great fun though, definitely a great turnout for a free game with such horrible weather forecast too! The sun peeked out at the end though, and it really didn't rain much, so once again, anyone that bailed because they thought it was going to be snowing a foot an hour, you missed out.
