Basically, yeah. Host some free games, and if you do it good, youl get a good reputation. With a good rep, you can start hosting for money. for the first paid game, you really just want to cover your costs, and keep the price as low as possible.

Go for it! just plan, plan plan. remember the 6 Ps. Prior Planning Prevents Piss-Poor Performance.
whats a good price range?
first game, cover costs. or, $5.

a month at least.
what should i know before planning an event?
what is a good start time, end time, length of op?

wheres a good place to host an event?
Ask around on the forum, and google airsoft/paintball places. some are professional/business owned fields, others are just a place to go with a friend. Give them a call, be nice, and they'll usually work with you. Be prepared to pay a sizable cost though. Its best to find a friends property for free games, and then try pro fields for paying games.
Remember folks, It's all Bullshit.
