This is exactly the type of thing to do. It's cool to have a complete facility to use with pre-existing rooms, doors, etc., but they turn into liability nightmares if you can even get permission to use the building. Maintainable arena floors with replica environments and multiple, marked exits is a step in the right direction.
Insurance companies do not understand or know how to handle airsoft, so setting up an arena can vary greatly in success due to venue and provider alone. Factor in zoning and getting proper approval from the city to use the space in the manner you intend to and soon you have 2 groups of people who do not understand airsoft trying to decide whether you get to stay open, or open at all.
