Help with tactics

Does anyone have any links to videos or possibly some manuals that help to explain how small squads move/operate. I need them for the youth airsoft group I run. I would like to start showing the kids how to use teamwork while playing. Right now, the group is split into two small squads and they battle it out. It's really good that they are having fun and yet, hilarious because at the start of each round, they all scatter and it usually turns into a free for all. I am just looking for some very basic information I could use to help them see how a team should move, use cover and stay together. I have viewed a few vids on ytube but the production quality was really bad and I couldn't understand what they were doing...Brits or Scotts I think from the accents. Anyways, thanks.

I would love to be able to take them to any type of training school but we do not have the funding or the means to travel at all.

First question, how old are the kids. If you make it too complex or demanding you will loose middle school and younger ( development level), what kind of tactics Law enforcement ( SWAT) or military?

Have a movie night every so often. Watch Blackhawk Down and Tears of the Sun for outdoors, and SWAT for indoors.

They aren't necessarily great training tools, but all of them showcase small groups working together.

For the training part of it, take some chunks of plywood, spraypaint silhouettes onto them, and practice running drills shooting at the plywood. Having people shoot back just screws with the training program early on. Concentrate on moving slowly, mastering the basics, and move on to the advanced stuff later.

Sorry for the late reply. - These are middle school kids. 10-15. We basically run three two-man teams then we change it up to two three-man teams. These kids need to learn how to move and stay down, cover each other and in a fire fight, don't take off screaming and leave your buddy in the hotzone(kind of hilarious to watch though). I just need to keep it really basic and simple. These kids have no attention span....Thanks.

You are absolutely right re the attention span with this age kids. Keeping it fun and simple is the way to go. If you make it serious and complicated ( repetitious) they will head for their Gameboys. I will look up some of my stuff re basic cover and concealment and you can see if it is acceptable for this level.

You need to be a member to download it I believe. I scrolled through it a bit and it's way too complex for the group of kids I am working with. I did watch Tanto's videos and while really good(especially the suppressive fire one), a bit too deep for my group. Still, good job Tanto. I got your idea.
