Big thanks to Rick and everyone else involved with making this Op a success. :D

Thanks to Phantom Fury for letting me tag along for the day, much appreciated.

Great play, but even just shooting Pacman was worth the drive. ;)

All the people i ran with seemed to have the 'right' attitude & played with honor. i didn't witness the hacking that others were complaining about, just a lot of normal "how the **** did none of those rounds hit him?"

Considering the mass turnout of people, it seemed like a higher quality of player on the field to me. Possibly because the weather scared off the herds of young a-hole players...?

Thanks goes out to everyone who showed up and not pansied out because of the "rain". It was great weather for a great day of airsoft, and many thanks to Rick and the admins for keeping it a fair game.

Good job Mehdi, you guys fought hard. The players really brought it for this game. EGD seemed to lose our cohesion and motivation. You guys kept it up for the whole game. It was great to fight against a motivated opponent. Very challenging, fun, and a target rich environment. Finally by the end of the day I shot so many rounds I think I managed to kill my JG. Only 1 out of every 5 shots are feeding now, looks like it's time to crack it open.

It was also great to see some familiar faces that I don't see very often these days. Glad I had a chance to hang out with everybody.

The game administration, however, left much to be desired. Rick, you could do so much better, and you have in the past. The game started late for both rounds, the chronograph process was bogged down, the actual game play was only around 3 hours total. Some of your administrators were making incorrect calls on the rules and contradicted what you said. The air horns were confusing because you were using them both in sectors and to call the game on, people assumed the horns also meant the game was over.

These are the types of mistakes that somebody who has hosted so many games should not be making anymore. It seems like you needed more admin on the field. The briefing was vague and not much mention was made of the actual rules. We had first time newbies out there who were +1's, they don't see the rules on the website. You gotta drill that stuff into their heads at the game.

I really hope that you can try some new ideas for future games. I'm getting really tired of the same old prop gathering missions over and over again. If people have come to expect this at a game, then they're giving in to a lesser ideal of mil-sim. I think it's up to us to stop each game from degenerating into a giant skirmish with a few props strewn about. To do that you need to keep an entire force on it's toes with enticing and fun objectives. At one point Tim told me "We gotta go rescue the Children at Play signs." People aren't very excited about the objectives or the props.

I'd like to see something better next time. I don't mean to publicly bash you, please don't take it that way. I feel that if nobody voices constructive criticism, nothing will change. You have to know there's a problem before you can fix it.

I had a very good time during both games, Of course i was on the front line, or behind enemy lines snipping at them 90% of the time. I only got killed 9 times. lots of fun.
To me this event was well worth driving the 180 miles each way.

No problem! It was just a cool looking accessory on my gun, since I need to do some upgrades before a scope is actually going to be useful. Glad it came in handy, plus it made your Dragunov look super kick a$$. :D

APST, PSC and Fragistan, you guys were awesome out there. Even when things were going wrong you guys stayed fair and played a great game, thanks for a kick a$$ time on the field. ;)

I wholeheartedly missed the mark with the briefing and said so in my closing comments in the main thread. I also acknowledged the administration could have been better and again my fault.

The constant interuptions while in the parking lot before the game really made things hard to get into place before we started. This is an issue I have to figure out.

We were supposed to have a quick admin briefing and I also had my safety briefing paperwork that got left behind between everything. However it is my ultimately my responsibility to be prepared no matter what.

As far as props this has been already addressed within. The children has been taken out of play. I'm done with a majority of sectors for awhile. The props will be better for the next one. I will have a better budget ;-)

That was me. If you recall, I also said that it scared the crap out of me too! I surely wasn't expecting someone to be there. That was the moment when I knew I was in trouble because I was the lone man left from my team in the village, surrounded by terrorists.

My favorite part of the game had to be the start of the second half. This guy was running down the trenches towards our spawn and me and 5 guys light him up. He runs for cover I go to a position to flank him and see seagreen talking to him. I turn to shoot at another guy and hear "This is bleeding bullshit, this isn't even real life this is airsoft!" or something along those lines. I guess seagreen told him to go back to spawn or something like that, but to see/hear this dude freak the heck out over having to walk back was hysterical. I know walking back to the spawn is an annoyance, but its not like it's going to kill you. This is airsoft where all out there to have fun theirs no reason to start screaming about it.

(Also Cypher It was the same kid that during half time you where talking about kicking out if he didn't call his hits anymore)

I'm sore, low on ammo and legs are shredded from briar bushes. I had a good time. My thanks to Rick and everyone else involved with making this a success.

I believe so, could not say 100% but I would be willing to bet it's the same guy.
