Question on shotguns. Looking through the mag restrictions, is there a limit to how many bb's load in a shell? Such as 15bbs (5 full shots)? Or is the full 30 (10 full shots) acceptable?

For shotguns, if the BB's are all fired at once, the number of bb's is not restricted.

An airsoft shotgun will typically be restricted to load 7+1 shots (not shells), this is the number of times you can actually fire the shotgun before reloading. So, I guess in your case, you can load 24 BB's for 8 shots.

Ok, so 8 trigger pulls on a utg/tsd shotgun then a new shell.

It would be 7+1 for a long shotgun, or 4+1 for a shorty. Just try to get as close to the real capacity of the weapon as you can.

This should solve the shotgun capacity problem.

Yes. Helmets are required for safety. There are many light weight helmet options that are not very expensive. Our IBH replicas were only $30 on WGC and are very light.

Aren't you charging $40-50 for your event Alex?

If you're going to go to war against a major enemy, go; knock the hell out of him fast, and go in there to kill him and get it over with.

Yes, he is.. But he isn't asking you to purchase an unnecessary item to use.. Or maybe he should. BSP has seen fit to remove helmets form the equipment list for their CQB's. I know this isn't BSP.

I can talk to the owners of the location about removing the hard cover requirement, but I can't make any promises. Most of the training that we had early on when learning about CQC and entry tactics put heavy emphasis on using hard covers. Considering you're going into an environment where you haven't been and there could be dangerous overhangs, etc... when you aren't paying attention you can easily slice your head open. The same concerns apply to this competition, safety first!

There are two reasons why we will require helmets at CQC7:

A) There are low ceilings and other objects that could realistically be a safety hazard.

B) CQC7 is an immersive tactical simulation based on a law enforcement scenario. The gear requirements are set to mimic the gear that a SWAT or HRT entry team would be required to use in real life.
