There have been some questions about the use of grenades and flashbang devices...whether they will be provided or player supplied.

-If you want to use an airsoft grenade, have at it. It will be scored as a fragmentation grenade. I don't know how useful it will be, but if you want to supply yourself with them, be our guest.

-Flashbangs: Due to the lowered cost of the event, we did not include bangers as part of the deal. If teams want to use real training bangs, they can rent the bodies and purchase the fuses from S4 (ALS type actual training bangs) for $17 a toss. Which, is $2 more than wholesale on the item. Those quantities are limited and honestly, the utility of the item will be peaked for the day two mission. I can't see a use for them on day one.

S4 also have some of the snap-cap style bangers available for WAY less to use for the events. Not nearly as cool, but do make a noise and could impact your surprise factor.

Teams that have their own distraction devices that are a manufactured item (not some shit you threw together from a fireworks stand...because that is a big a$$ no-go) you must have the item approved by the staff prior to the admittance of the item. If it's a go, it's a go, if not....put it back in your kitbag.

The distraction devices will not have the customary three count from "shock and awe" to the actors. They will work, or will not work. That's the gameplan. Train up and use VOA....chase your banger...That's what you should do anyway.

After the 1st, we'll lock in the time's for the teams to be ready to roll. We will have a better prep time for teams than in the past, allowing you to do a quick wargaming and sandtable exercise before you deploy.

Lastly, I've been getting some questions about magazine requirements and ammo counts. 33 rounds total in any "30 round capacity magazined weapon", 53 rounds in any "50 round magazined weapon", and for shotguns no more than 5 "trigger pulls" before a reload.

NO HIGH-CAPACITY MAGAZINES ALLOWED unless attached to a SAW.

NO Shrikes, NO Drum mags.

If you're going to go to war against a major enemy, go; knock the hell out of him fast, and go in there to kill him and get it over with.

I've contacted Dune Corps via PM. They were the first on the stand-by list. Hopefully, they'll take on the challenge!

Hey guys, with the event coming up and all, would anyone be interested in some prepatory training days?

Stuff that will teach some of the more tacticool stuff? I'd like to focus on tactical pistol for at least one weekend. Considering it is easily the most overlooked skillset.

Thoughts?

Bill, is it possible to purchase one of those G19's if we attend pistol training? And if so, how much would it be?

Negative on the purchase Jester. These were donated by Airsplat for the purpose of training.

Ollie, I'm going to look into the scheduling, but I'd say sometime in mid-Jan.
