Sept 22-24th at Camp Kamia Operation Thermopylae will commence. Spartan Cutlery in conjunction with Spokane Airsoft. Maximum number of players 120 minimum 70. Cost of the event is $70.00 preregister and $80.00 if room is available after the 11th of Septmeber.

US Forces will be invading Venezula due to its backing Iran in the current War On Terror. Hugo Chavez has been running his country like a playground and he is the spoiled kid bullying the other kids. We are going to stop this mad man from causing further problems both politcal and economical. On several occasions Hugo has made refrence to the "Impending War with the USA" we are now going to take preemptive measures to ensure he is no longer able to carryout military action against the US, or support other terrorist states. Two months ago Hugo bought several million AK-47 rifles, RPG's, SAM (surface to air missles), Armored Personel carriers, and has a small Air Wing. Our objective is to disable his regime and force a change in the region about supporting Terrorist Groups or States. The population of Venezula hates thier leader so we will not need to worry about local assets. However, we have several NSA operatives reporting solid information that will assist you in carrying out your operation. We do not have sufficent time to train a group of locals how to mount an insurgency so we have contracted with the Department of Defence to hire Triple Canopy Operators. They are traveling there now and will meet you on the airstrip. You will have a base of Operations and will recieve your orders at that location.

Venezuelain Forces: Our glorius President Chavez has finally decided to meet the USA in combat. The "Impending War" with their Special Forces is going to happen in the next month. We are going to raise the price of all oil going to the USA in an effort to encourage an invasion. Their Special Forces usually come in country a month before the main force to train the local populace to revolt. We have called our brother from the FARC to come up from Brazil and help in thwarting the Special Forces from training the populace. We want those American dogs to train the members from the FARC instead of the locals and at the last minute they switch sides and kill the Americans. Our objecives will inculde guarding the oil platforms and fields, major roads and bridges, the president and his family. We are not concerned with the locals just the infuntial families that supply our president with money. Kill all the American Dogs and show them why we are a force to be reconed with. If the situation gets bad Iran will send us some of thier Army Black Turban Troop to assist in our victory.

OK guys if you are going to play I need you to start signing up so I can break the teams down.

Here are the team load outs. Take note you do not have to have the exact weapons, but the uniforms are manditory if you dont want to be reassigned. The number of US members and other forces are going to be based off the minium of 70 players.

US Forces
* Weapons M16, M4, or MP5. Not essential but would be helpful for the overall look.
* Uniform MARPAT or ACU's. Essential.
* 12 members

Triple Canopy
* Any Weapons will be true to their loadout.
* Uniforms consist of Tan/Khaki pants, Boots, and vest. Essential for the OP.
* 10 members

Venezuela Forces
* Weapons should consist of AK, M16, and anything else we have supplied them with.
* Uniforms need to be woodland camo.
* 30 members

Venezuela Merc Forces (FARC)
* Weapons can be what ever you want.
* Uniforms should consist of Blue Jeans and maybe some camo Shirt. Bandana or straw cowboy hats are essential. This is a hodgepodge unit so, if this is you please be true to the uniform. Points are awarded if your team goes skins.
* 18 members

Sign up for which ever team you would like to be a member of.
