August 6th: Mini-CQC Event

Who: CQC minded players
When: August 6th (Sunday) 9am.
Where: The Crackhouse! 13000 SE Laurie St
Cost: $5

*Venue subject to cancellation if location is lost in some out of our control way.

Several of you have mentioned it would be nice to have CQC a little more often. This is a low key, informal event. I have already lined up 5 actors who are willing to take your punishment. We will have several scenerios that will test the skills of the teams, to prep you for future CQC events. This will also give you some trigger time under the rules that CQC uses, to familiarize yourself with them if you havent participated in the past.

-We will incorporate as many scenerios as we can pack in for the teams to run through.

-If you are a DM. We will even have stuff for you to do outside of sitting on a radio.

-Drills
a. Basic Movement
b. Transitions
c. Do it with your team or with the aid of an admin.

This little get together will also give your teams a little cross reference time to watch how other teams do it. It is about having fun and learning in a friendly helpful environment.

*Standard velocity limits for the Crackhouse apply. If you have a stock replica use that instead. We are not here to hurt people.

*For those of you without teams, you are more than welcome to come and participate. We will form teams from the pool free agents that show.

We will build stacks with the players without teams.

We will have a semi-sorta circuit training thing going on: Movement and shooting, Common's Area, Live fire exercises, and static shooting. the emphasis will be on the live fire scenerios, but drilling shooting and moving is always a good thing.

For the designated marksmen roles, we will work you guys into any teams with communications.

For all the players planning on running around, if you have a pistol, bring that as well. We have some transition shooting drills in mind. Should prove to be interesting and fun.
