Hauling away garbage isnt free. You have to pay the dump to accept the trash, and depending on the vehicle used to haul it - theres fees for renting a truck, and such. Us paying five bucks, and cleaning the place up (so that it is safer to play there - less chance of falling and wrecking yourself on a rusty nail, or slipping in a mountain of garbage and getting hit with a used hypodermic needle...) is the fee that we have to pay to the land owner to get to use the facilitys.

Five bucks each really isnt a big price to pay.

It doesn't matter what $ amount you put on something - some one will always want a deal. $5 for a facility is a steal. We pay $10-$15 per day on average. I don't think people understand the money and time that go into putting together an organized operation. The fact that the charge is the cost of the facility means that it will end up costing the organizers money for you to play. Personally I think everyone should pay at least $10. $5 is less then lunch at most places. I think a day of airsoft is worth more then a cheap lunch.

You can't have a force on force shoot em up type CQB game without at least SOME camping. Everybody does it at one point or another.

Camping prevention tip #1: Do not put porn on your tactical shield, those 15 year olds have hormones you know.

So, just trying to clear this up, do the people that came to help have to pay the 5 buck entry? I recall earlier that Garrett said anyone who helped was waived on the fee, but what alex said contradicts this. I have no qualms paying 5 for the game, that is a good price, I just wanted to know either way.

Oh yeah, and kind of agreeing with Dantes here. In a force on force attack and defend scenario, the defenders' job, whether anyone likes it or not, is to hunker down, fortify, and train their weapons on all possible methods of entry. I believe this is the definition of camping. Does it make it wrong? No. Does it make it hard for the attacking team, yes. Is it unfair, yeah. Defenders have an advantage, and that is it, they know that no matter what, the attacking team has to come to them to achieve their objectives, and all the defending team has to do is make sure the attacking team doesn't succeed. It sucks, just like life, so get over it. And remember, you get to be defense next. Just think of it this way, when we go out to an op, and a team is stationed as defense, what are they doing for the game? I know, as I have been on that team too many times: we sit on our asses looking at a spot that the enemy could come from. So in the field it is a good defense, but in MOUT it's camping? Explain.

From my understanding, the people who helped out today paid their five bucks in labour (we went to Restraunt Crackhouse, and paid our bill by washing the dishes). The people who come, who did not help at the clean up today do need to bring five bucks each.
