Well last night I went upto a rock quarry with about 8 of my friends for a couple hours of airsoft. We were trying to get low light conditions but not dark or a night game cause thats a pretty easy way for noobs and idiots to get hurt. One member of our group an ULTRA 1337 marine named steve devided he wasnt gonna use Eye protection cause his glasses had tint and made it too dark. I voiced concern telling him it wasnt a good idea. He turned to me and said that he didnt need them cause none of us 'Stranger Rangers" would be able to shoot his bootcamp hardened a$$. so we start our first game and not 5 minutes in he gets shot right in the eye by a kid with a UTG tactical warhawk from like 40ft away. He wasnt able to se out of it for nearly an hour and after that it was just blur. to summarize, it just gos to show you what happenns when idiots get on the field. I will never play with him again.

Here's what you do when someone says they will play without eye protection. You tell them that they either sit out, or they find eye protection that they will wear. You only get two eyes, even if someone else doesn't care about theirs, a friend won't let a friend play without eye protection.

Sounds to me like the jackass was an asvab waiver. The next time you see him, grab a rock, hand it to him, and tell him,"here's your I.D. card!"

I don't think anyone deserves to get shot in the eye, doesn't matter who they are. The second that he said he did not need eye protection would be the second that he would be banned from that skirmish, Zero tolerance. Sounds like if he did give in to your charms and put glasses on, five minutes later he might just take them off. He might even use the excuse, "my panties were too tight". Everyone knows or should know that eye protection comes first, PERIOD !!

My friend was shot in the eye once. He was wearing glasses, but it got up and under them when he was being shot at from the bottom of the hill he was standing on. It was no-one's fault, he just tilted his head at the wrong second. His pupil was very large for the next few weeks due to the eye drops he had to use that whole time.

one thing that was funny about the aftermath of the event, he had to stay home from school for the 3 days after this happened. He was a level 4 on Halo 2 on Xbox live. After those three days, he was up to a level 23. hehe...
