Also, may I ask who we had contact with on the South-Western trail?

Just curious which Scout almost got eliminated by our ichy-trigger-fingered cohort.

Yes any news on that?

SoulReaper, who was that Kid I took down the path to confrim if the "Charlie" was the Snipers?
On a side note work on the thing we talked about. Eh?

I have not gotten the full report, but it seems that one scout did see Renagade.

Whoot.
I was one of the only guys that went up the hill to find them.

I am proud of them, this is only the first third of their training. Out of the 6, only one was seen.

I have to say, I knew we'd be observed unless our modified orders kept us away from the observers. *Again, Thank you for the use of your compass Niall - this is my second mistake at one of your games and I'm quite sorry. I really did have a compass in my bag  *

But yeah, I caught movement on perifiral vision, or so I thought, so we sent some people up to check it out.

He did well to break contact when he did, being shot at and all - but I had the feeling he was playing with us, trying to stay just out of range to collect more info until he got shot at.

I think our biggest mistake was staying on the trails. While much safer and easier to move on, we should have moved just off the trail in the tree cover, even if we had to go slower to do it safely.

I love the field, I hope to get more time in there so as to learn the layout better so I can be confident in telling my guys to head 'straight up this ridge, we'll meet you on the otherside and box him in'.

Between Renegade and I, I think we had a pretty good command, for an impromptu squad restructure. :P

It was great working with you, I would be glad to do it again.
Also thanks for the ride.

Keep in mind that not all of the movement out there that you may have come across was the 937th Scouts.

We are aware of that.
APST was my target the whole game....
And I was right about to ambush them when.... I realised they weren't moving tactically, and for some reason they were waving at someone down the path.... Turns out the game ended and ALL of RAC5 were down there......

I just wanted to ambush neil once.... O'well. Maybe next time eh Neil?

This particular movement turned out to be a Ghilie suited person, at least. For all I know it was an observer of observers. :P Or some do0d growing pot and trying to be sneaky about it.

Plus I was concerned we would be running into 5th RAC rather than a recon member - but the only way to know was to push on him.

I also have a suspision that all was not as it seemed about a couple things - but I'll wait to see if the report info we get to see shows me what I want to know.

The ground rules were straight foreword for them. Nothing special at all as far as deception. They were being tested on getting as near as they could, gathering info and getting to all the points that they were assigned to get to.

The only Ghillie anything was Soyuz's hat, and he was so far outside the area you were in that I doubt you saw him.

There will be another opportunity for you guys to find them again in two months.
