Airsoft is one of those sports like football. if you're stupid, theres potential for some major pain. but if you wear the proper eye gear, wraparound lenses rated ANSI Z87.1, you shouldnt have much issue. chipped teeth can be prevented by wearing a mouth guard, some sort of mask or wrap, or just keeping your mouth shut under fire. as for the welts, safety kills are a beautiful thing. but if you get lit up at point blank...here's a straw. suck it up. if you accidently smoke-check someone up at point blank, make sure you sincerely apologize. I did that at Grid 18, and I made a point of apologizing to him before I moved on.
Kneepads and Elbow pads can provide a certain amount of protection from bumps and bruises, or atleast make hitting the dirt alittle easier. gloves are a good thing too.
But at the least, pick up some safety goggles of the proper rating. off-the-shelf sunglasses wont do the trick, unless they have the proper rating. dont even ask. if it doesnt say that its ANSI Z87.1, its not.
The King Of al-Talk. Hey, at least I'm not a troll.
My dog wouldn't know what to do with a duck if she caught it, but she's cute. And hates Mexicans. +1!
