Good morning all,

Battlesim.com will be hosting a multi day airsoft camp this June in Vaughn, WA. It will include everything you need for the camp including an AEG, BDUs, boots, camping shelter, food, and materials. You are welcome to bring your own gear.

We will be covering several different subjects including: Gun safety, AEG Care, AEG Upgrades, Tactical gear compared, Small squad tactics, Individual movement techniques, operation planning, radio communication protocols, and camouflage. The camp will end with a large game on the last day to test the skills you have acquired during the camp.

Groups will be broken down into fireteams of 4-6 members and each fireteam will move from class to class through out the day. Each day will have small skirmishes and contests to see who has learned the most from the days classes. Awards will be given to those who excel at the classes.

Exact details on time, cost and specific schedule will be posted in the next week as we confirm our training cadre. Instructors will be announced in the next 2 weeks.

This is an outstanding way for Battlesim.com recruits to gain member status and a great way for new players to become recruits. The topics covered will go from basics to advanced techniques and everyone attending will learn an enormous amount about airsoft as well as tactics and individual techniques.

Questions
Will cost be lowered if you provide your own gear and let the admin know in advance, so they don't need to put that into the expenses?
If you don't provide your own, you are simply renting said gear right?
What if you are provided a vest or something that you wish to buy, will that be possible?

1. Cost will be the lower end if you provide your own gear.
2. Yes they are rentals.
3. We may have a vendor on site but that is to be determined.

And so we get some direction in the wacky world of airsoft!

Awesome, Hellmutt. It would be interesting if you had the time to have a game prior to the training and then the one after, so everyone can see how the game improves as the skill of the players improve.

Rick,

That's a pretty damn good idea. Maybe we will make it a 4 day event rather then 3 with the first 'game' optional.

Is a specific pattern(s) required for the BDUs?

Do you have to be a member of Battlesim to attend?

Love to attend, but chances are slim.

We will be breaking down fireteams by BDU. We will issue Woodlands standard but any BDU is acceptable.

This event is open to everyone - we are actively seeking players with both limited experience and extensive experience. Our cadre is turning out to be a real world experienced batch of trainers including a few ex-ranger types and combat vets. Our AEG experts are world known designers of custom AEGs and masters of their trade. We expect that everyone will have something they can learn (and share) at this camp.

It is a overnight camp. The price will be under $200 for sure. I am thinking that it will be a 3 day 2 night camp with an optional game day making it a 4 day 3 night camp. We will training on night ops! I am attempting to get some NVG and an instructor.
