No, my friend had what was needed for OPFOR and not NATO, so I figured I might as well play OPFOR too. I borrowed some money and bought some M81 BDUs

I don't mind though, I suppose having an actual camo and not ranger green pants and a black polo is a good thing

My God, half this thread was about you and your clothing and then you went out and bought woodies. Good on you for taking our advice, but what is it about kids these days? Memememe.

In other news, Jester--why's everyone joining your team? Are you giving out candy or something?

Jester threw out that he would do a lap dance or something for anyone that signed up for the OP team.

As for Reascr PLEAS go to your PRIVATE forum and ask these questions. My guys have stopped reading the thread due to your comments and posts.

Me too

But if we still had active mods some of this wouldn't be an issue.

Opposing forces are now full and will begin a first come first served wait list. NATO still has room if you want a guaranteed spot

Hopefully this is the last of these questions ( and feel free to tell me to shut up), with rain gear I am looking to fet a poncho. Does this need to match my camo exactly or will just a tan one do?

Great Question!

All - please remember your cold /wet weather gear needs to match your team. Most simply that means you uniform pattern, PMC or Green for OPFOR and TAN for NATO. This applies to all outer garment, like soft-shells.

This is the OREGON COAST in OCTOBER, the average high/low is 64/46 degrees F. Dress in layers and bring extra socks and dry clothing (sweats or similar) to change into if you get real wet … especially to sleep in. This is NOT at continuous 48 Hour OP, we won’t be sleeping in shifts and need to jump out of bed at a moments notice. Bring gloves … not just your cool combat gloves, but one that keep you hands warm and don’t forget a Patrol Cap (stocking cap).

Uniform requirements will be only enforced during active event hours.

Rick - sorry if I overstepped here ...

Team NATO is shaping up quite nicely. We may not have the number to match OPFOR ... yet, but something is to be said for QUALITY 8)
