Then don't use it. I can't go to this game, but if you were using a drone to recon my group, I'd shoot it down. I'm probably not alone in that sentiment.

Yeah if you don't want it broken, don't bring it to an airsoft game...

Also think about what you are proposing. How is the idea behind this fair game play. You get you bring a device that allows you to do aerial recon and identify enemy position and number and direction of travel from a distance and they aren't allowed to try and stop you from doing so. That's not fair game play.
Ogre is not alone in thinking people will shoot at it, and to be honest they wouldn't be wrong to do so. Your trying to get a leg up, AND you want special rules to make it safe for you to do so. Most game hosts are not going to accommodate that kind of attitude.

All thems is good points, also it's windy at the beach.

For filming, yes. For combat, no. If it has video recording capabilities, bring it (with Riddick's approval) and do some filming during breaks?

Sounds good then, I'll see what I can pull together. Might be able to get some actual tactical pants that are CB/Khaki/Tan with time to spare, that'll be much nicer

Also, what team would I be on? I assume NATO because the khaki bottoms fit with the yellow theme. Gotta find out for anyone who wants to come out with me

Makes sense. Could work if it was color-coded for PMC but that also makes it a little more annoying. Aight, I'm seeing who's willing to come along

Honestly, posting on the game thread basically just whining because you can't use whatever shit you currently have is f***ing retarded and all too common for your age group. You're not going to get anywhere on it, so either get what is asked for(and as you said yourself, its pretty f***ing lax, so whats the problem?)or gtfo.

Not looking to get anywhere on it, nor did I think I was whining. I'm pretty sure I can express that I'd like to attend but cannot in the post, it's also the first event I've seen on here at a MOUNT so it's even more so. I'm used to hearing about it over on the east coast (The concentration of people on /r/airsoft are either in LA/the immediate area or somewhere along the northeast) so I'm also actually disappointed in being unable to come.

Also what I know of PMCs (Yes, I use PMC, even though they're more accurately described as private security. Shorter to spell and everyone knows what you mean) comes a little from reading a blog of one and then what I've read on federal rules when it comes to contractors. Which means not using camo that other countries use, for equipment last I checked. Everything else varies from organization to organization[/quote]

Hahaha cause what you've read trumps what McNair has learned from actual contractos

Reascr wrote:Oh man, I just got my PMC-y kit done and I have none of the camo types allowed. Shame.

Ah well, I still have things I need to get done on my rifle and whatnot. After all, it shoots 420 and not 400, and I've yet to get a replacement spring for it.

This is whining. I can hear the "Oooooooh man" in your 15 yr old voice.

Not to be a tool, but the city is called MOUT, not Mount. MOUT: Military Operations on Urban Terrain. Used to describe cities that the military fights in now, and has built to train in. ie, "the military has MOUT sites to train soldiers in urban combat". Pretty sure Rick knows the difference and it was just an auto correct thing, but if this is going to be a Milsim type experience, we should all be calling it by the correct name. :)

Maybe it wasn't a typo...

Maybe there will be MOUNTing in the MOUT site, which would make the MOUT site a MOUNT site.

:D
