PF will be at Summer Slaughter as usual but we will not have a table in the swap meet / vendor area. Our plan is to be on the field more this year playing and helping out where needed.

Still please feel free to swing by our camp between events if you have any questions about Airsoft, MilSim, gear or to just say hi. Our camp will be marked with a Phantom Fury Banner

Hope to see you there,
Crossbow out.

FYI !!!!!
If you come to SS via I-5 (exit 278-Donald Aurora for SniperzDen) Ehlen Rd will be closed at the railroad crossing Saturday - Monday.

There are many other options like the exit farther south (outlet malls) or come in through Newberg.

Knowing is half the battle ... See you here!!!

120 people are here for the night. Great turn out for a Friday night. Registration opens at 8am. Remember that the field closes at 10pm tonight. If you can carpool, please do so. Parking will be tight. Please follow our directions when arriving and things will go smoothly. We look forward to seeing you all here.

Thanks guys for hosting yet another great SS!!! Met lots of new players and picked on some old ones. Over all it was great and looking forward to the next one. What was the total count that made it out?

We wanted to say thank you to everyone who came out to make Summer Slaughter 6 great! We had 286 players (people who filled out waivers) and more who didn't play, but were buying and selling. It was hot, sweaty, and smelled of unwashed masses, but it was great. We hope that everyone who came out enjoyed the event. It was really encouraging to see the level of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and drive we did.

This weekend showed one of the biggest Friday turnouts of any event I've been to: 120 people. We were expecting maybe 50. It was great to see so many people come out. Next time, please remember when the field opens, as showing up 10 min after the first SPECDET member was a little hectic since we hadn't set any thing up.

There is one thing I would like to remind people of: Your trash is NOT our responsibility. We never provide dumpster service or other garbage service for you. YOU are responsible for taking away all waste generated during the course of the event. This afternoon, we picked up 3 contractor grade garbage bags full of trash from ONE campsite. This person will be found, and will no longer be allowed at our events. We will post pictures of what was left here shortly so that EVERYONE can see how NOT to leave a campsite. Another person at least bagged their trash, but still left it and their broken chair for us to deal with. Again, we are not the garbage-man, and we should not have to be picking up after everyone.

If you have any constructive criticism or things you thing could go differently to improve the event, send up a PM. We will also be putting up a survey here in the next week or so if you want to wait for that. Look for our next event announcement soon. Until that time, we will see you on the field!

DRAT's attendees had a lovely time in our vagabond merchant camp, as usual. It was great to see everyone!

Had a great time catching up with everyone and doing some shootin'. Thanks to all the vendors that came out to sell their wares. Having put together and ran large events I can say the day seemed way too seamless due to all the hard work of Specdet, thank you all for the great time and effort!
My only complaint had to do with new face mask restrictions which is an issue with the field.

Some photos from this weekend are up. Currently they are from Jester's first camera (he had 2), and they are only from Sunday. He was to busy doing other things to get photos during the other days, but one of our other teammates got a ton of video for you guys on Saturday. Photos can be found on our Facebook page.

No, no, no...this just won't do. We can't post pictures this quickly. It goes against everything AP stands for!

This was the best SS yet! SpecDet1 did a great job start to finish, with all the info videos up front and keeping the games and events rolling Saturday and Sunday. If you weren’t there … you really missed out!

I would also like to thank all the campers and players, there were very few issues in the camping area even considering the number of people attending.

I really hope a few more people caught the bug and will be attending future airsoft event. We are lucky to have a number of great fields in the area, so there is no reason to not put down the controller and get off the sofa!

See you on the field.

Just a heads up that due to people not following the rules and not wearing face masks on the field, we will be removing ANY photo that shows players not using face masks. Next time we won't be so lenient. Follow the rules or don't play. This is a game of honor.

First off, I want to say thank you for all the compliments, and people giving recognition for our efforts this weekend. Events like this don't go smoothly without a lot of cooperation between staff, vendors, and players. The attitudes this past weekend were in most part of the "lets have a good time" variety, and it was greatly appreciated. I had an absolute blast admining, helping people out, driving my red side by side during the convoy games, meeting a lot of new players, and seeing old friends. BIG THANK YOU to "THE PALE RONIN", and MILSIM MOTORPOOL, for bringing their vehicles out for all of us to salivate over, and bringing a bunch of free stuff to give away. As a team, I know Specdet 1 was very encouraged after the event, and we are already making plans to help streamline, and help improve this event going forward. Stay tuned, as there are some really cool things in the works for future events!
