Really? This is a thing now?

Chewy may, or may not be happy about this, LOL!

Hey Thai, what brand of "chest rig" is Frank using?

PM me and we can discuss kanine tac-gear, don't wanna derail this thread.

Maybe we could start a dog squad?

ok, i'm done.

Just wanted to let you know that dogs will not be allowed on the playfield. There are just to many issues that could arise. Dogs are ok in camp, but not on the field where bbs are flying around.

Yeah, like if somebody shot Darwin, he'd probably eat the person.

That'd be a problem.

What I would be afraid of, is diving into a foxhole, and crunching one of the little guys!

Darwin is a 150 lb mastiff. He'd win.

Thai: We hope this doesn't dissuade you from attending. I know we changed our tune rather quickly, but it was after a lengthy discussion by our team leadership that we arrived at this conclusion. The reasons were as follows:

1)Safety: We felt that we could not guarantee the safety of a dog regardless of if it has eye protection or not. Safety is the number one priority for us, as we want everyone to be able to go home and brag about the event.

2)Precedent: While we understand you have a small dog, if we allowed your dog, we would have to allow ALL dogs. And I don't think it would be a good idea to have Ogre's 150lb Mastiff on the field (although I've met him, and he's a lover, not a fighter).

While we think it's awesome that you are training your dog to be on the field, we just don't think this event is a good place for it. Bring him down and have him in the camping/buying/selling area, and bring him by our tent. One of our members will have his Corgi's there.

To anyone that does bring a dog please pick up after them. A few games back some guys just let their dog run free and he did his business all over the place and never picked it up.

My last event before going to basic! Hell yeaaaaaah. I loved Summer Slaughter 5 and me and my bro are pumped. One question though, is there a minimum engagement distance for all across the board period? I mean for the standard AEG? Usually i just kinda shoot em no matter how close or far but i wanna make sure thats okay before i get myself in trouble hahaha

Thanks.

Alright folks: Weather update puts it in the low to middle 90's. Today is the day to start your hydrating so you don't become a heat casualty. Leave the red bull, monster, mt. dew and other shit at home. Bring water, lots of water. Also bring some gatorade, powerade, or other electrolyte replacement drink. Don't wear so much gear. Now is a great time to try out your light weight kit. Stay out of the sun when you can.

SPECDET is excited for this, and we hope people will come out and have a great time!

Don't forget to watch this quick video on Summer Slaughter (and like our page for instant updates when we upload footage from the event. Also go like our Facebook page for updates during Summer Slaughter.

Semi-auto only mechanically for over 400. But bring the gun and run it through chrono.
