[OP] Scenario Day@ the Swamp Airsoft Games July 11

We will be having Airsoft games all day July,11 2015. Field opens at 9am and we will close at 5pm. Cost is $20 with your own equipment. And we have Rentals for $35 and that includes field fee. Bio's BB's are required at the Swamp. Please keep your BB's in there original container. If they are not you will not be allowed to use them. We have had a rash of non Bio's trying to be used at the field. Full seal eye pro is required and full face protection is also required at the field. With the hot weather All Smoke Is NOT ALLOWED. And please bring extra water to drink. We will be doing our standard 20 minute game format, and remember we are POLAR STAR friendly we have 4500 psi and 3000 psi air fill that is included in your entry also we will have a power strip for battery recharges. Well you have aright to your opinion. But I can tell you I admin all the game and you once never came to me and brought your concern up to me. This action is childish and dose not grow the sport. Team FOAD is sponsored by the Swamp and they get a discount but still play to pay so you are wrong on that account. gets to cheat. They dont have to chrono their guns and dont ever take their outs. Also they out gun everyone else on the field becouse they use PolarStars without any chrono or regulations.
On top of that the teams are,

I've been to the Swamp once. FOAD was there. Let's take these one at a time.

I'm also pretty sure that the core FOAD players have more of a life than you. Just a guess, but most of them have families and full time jobs. Do you?

See the above about having a "real" job. Guess what, you get more "play money". There's a reason older players tend to have better gear. We can afford it, it's not all our money.

The game I was at, FOAD took all the 13-15 year old kids on their team AND split their team amongst both teams.
Polarstars and not chronoing.
I can't speak to not chronoing as I didn't pay attention. I do know that a minority of FOAD uses Polarstars, though.

WOW! What a way to start your first thread. As shrek mention we do get a discount but we still pay to play. As for polar stars.... We have 1 polar star in a team of 25 plus players. Yes some of our guns shoot fast but that's due to the upgrades we put in there. As for chronoing our guns........ Most patch members give our guns to our prospects to get them chronoed while we help shrek out with anything he needs. Not taking hits you should have gone to ANY admin (several out there) and pointed the guy out.
Sounds like your a new player possibly and only see things one way. You live in Salem and so does 90% of my guys. Send me a pvt msg and we can try to hook up and discuss airsoft. Maybe about what if this happens then what do I do or what ever. I will tell you that we push our guys (FOAD) because that's what your in this sport for. Pushing your self and having fun. If you even think you got hit you call it.
So before going out and calling someone out you should do your research first and get ahold of who ever (team captain, field owner or host). Now I came forward and after a bashing on my team I still offer to help. Now it is in your ball park to follow thru. I'm sure these AP users would like to hear how this gets resolved.

I don't live in Salem I live in Vancouver Washington I dont know why it says Salem. I heard lots of good things about the swamp so I figured I should make my way down there to play. I think I over reacted becouse of the issues there were. Sorry for freaking out all of you.

Next time if you could think about what your going to type because this could reflect on the field owner, host and team. Also don't wait 4 weeks to post a comment about a game. Sooner the better so we can fix what ever in a timely manner. Maybe you had a bad experience but I know a lot of players had fun and I hope you give it another try.

Now back to the game thread. I hope we will see you guys there and bring your friends (Swamp has rentals). Check out the new section of the field and the short game play. Look up on youtube for the swamp in Lebanon and check out the videos of airsoft games. Gives you a good idea of what it is like there.

For someone who pukes out all this garbage, you sure haven't paid much attention to the games at the swamp.

Tries to hard??? Um, thats the whole point.

Doesn't have a life? Spends all my money on airsoft? Myself and all of my team mates work full time jobs and have families we take care of. Me personally? I work a full time job and own a small business, have 4 kids and a wife at home, My 17 yrs old son works a full time job and goes to school. So yea we work hard for what we have.

Doesn't play respectfully? Again you have not paid attention, Team FOAD demands respect from others but we know the only way that happens is by showing respect to others, Countless time we have gone out of our way to help other players out side of FOAD both that the swamp and other fields.

Wont take hits? I have loss count as to how many times myself and my team have called hit just because we thought we were hit, there has even been times when one of us gets hit on our gear that we might have not felt but another teammate saw and will let each other know that we were hit.

FOAD vs. walkons? Every game at the swamp it will start with FOAD vs everyone just to see how it balances And at every game we send our guys to the other side after the first round to balance out the skill levels. Hell the last game there were 13 FOAD members vs. 15 walk ons, we ended up sending 5 of our players, yea 20 vs 7 to help balance the skill levels.

Now to address the Swamp, Shrek and his family are the most honorable people I have seen in a long time, His reputation and livelihood is dependent on it. Yes he is our sponsor, yes our patch members get a discount to play, but with that comes the expectation that we represent his values on and off his field. These guys demand honorable play, If you would have paid attention during the briefing you would have heard him state that they do honor checks and if you though someone was not taking their hits then let a admin know and they will deal with it, me personally I have been honor checked once.

Yes this has been a rant, but I take attacks on my team and sponsor personally. I work hard for what I have and play hard. A bit of advise to you, if you have a problem with someone talk to them directly before puking a ton of crap on a public forum.

And I'm not trolling, but hey new kid with no name, (btw, please pick a name) your 18(?) maybe this is can be your turning point, at which YOU start trying harder when YOU play, (it's more fun, trust me) maybe to the point of tagging along with a FOAD member at the next game, I'm willing to bet Cyclops wouldn't mind having some back-up?

And I will back-up what Ogre said: FOAD IS a reputable team, (even if there's like a hundred of them, lol) and the core team members DO NOT cheat. (can't speak for their prospects, as I've never played with any of them)

On AP, as in life, you should think about what you say, before you say it. Because everyone has feelings, that can get hurt. Even big monster baller, operator types.

I would also check your hop-up, as this can be a problem for newer players. Shooting at someone, and you think they're not calling their "hits", when really it's the BB not shooting as flat, and as far as you think it is. (I've been there, it sucks)

Most of all, just try and have fun with it!
