ok ok that was a good one. I do have back up plans if something was to happen. Yes I may have to sell my truck since my wife hates driving it but something like Hawkeye showed in the picture above. Should be legal to use a riot shield at that point. If not I'll get a lawyer....... LOL

No. Why would you want to? Thunder-Bs are accessible and pretty inexpensive these days. Plus it's kind of hard to ignore the bang which is much louder than the quiet thud of a tennis ball plopping to earth.

Oh and read the players handbook, if it's not clear or missing the answer to your questions pm Riddick and he will address.

Maybe take your own advice here and let Rick answer this question? He's allowed tennis ball grenades in the past.

I did and have. Tennis balls are not directly addressed in the handbook but it has been some time since they have been allowed at one of Ricks games.

Also since this is a game attempting towards a more mil-sim experience, non-reactive gear (stuff that requires both deployment actions other than just throwing along with some type of action upon "detination") meant to simulate real ordinance would not be within the spirit of this event. Hence the negative response.

Ya Tennis ball grenades are a pain about who is out and some confusion about where they land. At one game we had like 15 guys with 3 of them. If I remember right we were at sniperzden in the city and "Code" was one of the admins. We called him in and told him to call out the kills. He walked over and next thing he knew there was like 30 plus tennis ball grenades landing everywhere in the city. He started laughing and just pulled everyone out of that section of the city. There was some confusion as some of the players had no idea these were landing next to them. Code said after the game all he could see was grenades flying in the air and hitting every section around him. Funny but I do agree they shouldn't be allowed. Less confusion which may help with some of the little drama that may happen.

Alpha also votes no on tennis ball grenades for this event.

They are ok for some bb wars, but in all honesty we are going pretty lax on the Milsim requirement. The hope is to build more strict requirement as we ALL progress.

Games like this are not for everyone but they can be a blast. There will be plenty of Airsoft events in 2015 where t-ball gernades will be allowed.

That all said good for asking .... Shows players are reading and participating.

Anyway, My 2 cents.

We will no longer allow tennis balls. Its hockie and I always knew that. The minimum would be foam grenades that look somewhat like a real grenade and can be thrown as far as one. Its not perfect but at least its not something you would want to return volley on or say 40 love. Next allowed would be thunder bs. I will revise the manual as these small things are brought up.

Hey there, I noticed you have me down as spotter. I was hoping to take the last sniper position. I have a bolt action sniper rifle. I realize that I worded my email wrong. What I ment by aeg is that I have a side arm that is an aeg. It's a shortened tactical m4. Also My daughter was going to be my spotter. She will be running a cqr m4 along with a handheld spotting scope. I'm sorry for any inconvience. so I guess I'm a plus 2 cause my co-worker is still coming and using my saw. This game is going to be epic, we can't wait.
