Getting into airsoft again in Portland

Hey all,

I'm a 24-year-old guy who has just recently decided to start playing again after many years of break. I grew up on the island of Kauai, Hawai'i, and played airsoft through my teenage years with my brother and a large group of our friends. We would organize small-scale games and scenarios around the island. Fields didn't (and I'm pretty sure still don't) exist on Kauai, so we had to make them all ourselves.

Fast forward a handful of years, I've graduated from Portland State University with a bachelor's in Anthropology and am now itching to play again. I've picked up my trusty KWA CQR mod 2 and been to Oregon Airsoft Arena half a dozen times in the last month or so. Airsoft is just as fun as it ever was, and I can't wait to explore the other fields and events that the pacific northwest has to offer.

Welcome. Come out to Summer Slaughter 5 this weekend in Saint Paul. It's a great way to get introduced to airsoft in the PacNW. We'll have different types of games, swap meet, local retailers, and numerous other great things going on. It's going to be the biggest event of the year.
