The UPS man just dropped of 27lbs of 11x15 steel targets from shootsteel.com for the pistol/rifle course. Combined with the ones from last year, we should have a pretty challenging course to run through. Just on of the many different games we will be putting on throughout the day.

Are you coming to Summer Slaughter? You should. Do you have friends who have never played airsoft? Probably. Can you bring them out to the game even though they have no gun, gear, or sense of adventure? Most definitely.

SPECDET1 is proud to announce that K&M Airsoft Rentals will be onsite with quite a few rentals available. Packages start at approximately $25 for everything you need for a day. They are also donating a few free rental packages for our raffle for any event they are at. I had the opportunity to talk with them this last weekend, and their vision is to provide an affordable way to get people to experience airsoft, without sinking a bunch of money into it first. So, if you have friends who've expressed interest but don't want to spend the cash first, this is a perfect way to get them out and exposed to the greatest game ever. And with the swap meet going on, they can buy guns, gear, and everything else they need to continue playing after the event is over.

My son and I have just started down the path of getting into airsoft. He is 11, so he doesn't meet the age requirement for play, but would it still be worth a trip for the opportunity to buy some used gear. We would be coming up from Eugene so want to make sure before heading north. Thanks in advance.

150lbs of raffle donations from Airsplat? Sure, why not.

2 GIANT boxes from them came today. I'm not going to reveal what they sent, but lets just say that I think this event will be giving away the most AEG's of any event in the past 8 years (since I started airsoft). :D

Jester ran out of room in his spare bedroom and dropped four HUGE-assed boxes of stuff off for me to store until the raffle.

Wow. Just cool. And he even kept most of the truly awesome stuff at his house.

Planning on coming Saturday and Sunday, staying overnight. Maybe bringing my friend who just bought an AKM, so he'll be looking for mags, etc. Can't wait to spend all my hard-earned money on pieces of metal and plastic made-in-China tacticoolness!

Will there be charging stations this year, or do we need source electricity for ourselves?

There should be outlets available, but I would suggest bringing multiple batteries.

Summer Slaughter is a great opportunity to get the Airsoft Community together for some fun while hooking up with old friends and making new ones!

Going to be GREAT!

I just got a slip in my mailbox at work saying my time off is approved.
So I'll be there from opening to close, might bring some people with me.
