[OP] THE SWAMP June 29

I can honestly say, that at the last game at "The Swamp", my son and I had an absolutely amazing time. We still talk about it frequently. If you haven't been there, I highly recommend checking it out.
The field, although not huge, plays bigger than it is. Lots of cover, buildings,vehicles, and barricades, along with lots of long range opportunities. Brian, from Extreme Velocity, does a very nice job of putting together fast paced game scenarios, and consistently changes things up. Also because the field isn't huge acreage wise, once shot, your spawn isn't that far away, no matter where you are the field, which makes it nice for those who like to run light gear. It's very convenient to leave extra ammo, water, snack, etc at spawn, as your at worst a 5 minute walk back to spawn.
With all these factors coming into play, the games are fast paced, and action packed.
If you're on the fence about checking it out, get off and do it! I only wish my Seattle trip were another weekend so I could return to this fun little field of awesomeness.

Still looking for the teams in Albany, Corvallis, Eugene and even up in Portland. More players the better. WE DO need you guys to sign up so we know what items to bring for the free raffle (additional tickets can be purchased at $1 a ticket. All proceeds go to "The Hope Station" here in Salem..... Lets sign up guys....

Sounds like Extreme Velocity here in Salem will have a few guns for rent at this event ($20). Bring eye pro just incase. Better to be safe then sorry. So if you don't have a gun this would be a GREAT place to come play and rent a gun.

A few players I have talked to said they would like to come but they are waiting to see how many players will be showing up. There will be a good size group plus a few that haven't already signed up but I wanted to push the idea if your thinking your going to make it just sign up or maybe post you will try to make it. I'd like to 60 plus guys show up to beat our last record. BUT then again if 100 players show up a KWA SR10 will be placed in a raffle we are having thanks to Extreme Velocity!!!!

Looks like I'll be able to go, but I might not. My ride will have to stay, and I doubt she'd like to. Maybe I can convince her to play, but I doubt she'll want to pay an extra $15 (Plus, neither of us have gear, are there going to be rentals? If so, that dictates the entire thing)

Maybe I can get her to hang out in Lebanon, maybe she'll like to do that. Anyway, I hope I get to play with you guys. It'll be my first with you guys, and my second game all together.
