Missing mid cap

Postby Nordy » Sat Mar 08, 2014 11:32 pm

Hello so I was at tac ops tonight with my brother 3/8 played 3 really good games. Walked out of there without my mid cap, was under my bag I guess. It was a tan g&g mid cap. Called there to see if someone turned it in. No one did. So my question do you guys write your name on your mags for weekend games?? I'm a little upset that someone walked away with it in the 35 mins I left it. So I ordered another tonight and had 2 others on back order from airsplat. So what is everyone's thoughts?? Thanks for the Info.

I put a neon green Star of David on top of all of my mags. Easy way to claim them as mine and helps them stand out a bit if I drop em in the woods.

Things get lost pretty easily in airsoft. I lost a SCAR-H mag at a game before it even started and never found it :(

Marking all your mags in a semi-permanent way (don't scratch your SSN or something into it in case you decide to sell it down the road) is a very good idea. I'd suggest a paint pen. Krylon makes a damn fine one. Be sure to read the instructions.

I tape all My mags with blue and yellow electrical tape and put numbers on them in paint on the bottom of the may and I've dropped mags and people have returned them after seeing the same tape on the mag in my gun so I guess it works

After loosing two 40rnd KWA MP7 mags it Action Acres (It was my fault :( ), I started marking all of my mags inside the bottem plate with a permanent marker. I hope this helps.

Thank you,

I always put down "Lt. Col. Hal Moore's" 1st Battalion, 7th Cavalry Regiment, on my mags to keep them different from other players. also because I like the movie "we where soldiers".
" I could have killed ’em all, I could kill you. In town you’re the law, out here it’s me. Don’t push it. Don’t push it or I’ll give you a war you won’t believe. Let it go. Let it go."
