Silverton Skirm

Postby Cyph34r » Tue Mar 04, 2014 11:27 pm

I've been told to host a skirmish on this day, so I am.

Location: 2634 Lorence Rd NE, Silverton, OR, 97381

Teams will be divided on the field, Colored duct tape may be used to divide teams, depending on turnout.

Chrono will open at 1000.
We'll deploy out to the field at 1100.
We will continue to play until people want to stop.

FPS Limits and Engagement Distances. All FPS limits are calculated with 0.20g bbs.
Weapon/Weapon: FPS Limit {Min. Engagement Distance}
Pistols/CQC Guns: 350 {1-5ft}
Rifles/Support Weapons: 400 {25ft}
DMR (Semi-auto only): 450 {45ft}
Bolt: 550 {60ft}

We'll have waivers and pens at the field. I'll try to find a pdf in the next few days.

I think you'll have a better turnout than people might think.

I will go if you spend half the day talking to me about that thing I keep bugging you about on google chat (topical solution?)

Or if Russian Guyovich shows up with his specter camouflage and doesn't mind me trying to steal it or trade random stuff for it. (52-54 / 5 (185cm)????????????????1

DRAT's southern and northern divisions look to be making a stack to attend.

Wishing you guys the best, and hope enough guys show up. But, there is a skirm there the weekend before yours, Ricks game the same weekend, a game at Canyon View in Silverton the same weekend,and a game at Splat Action the following weekend. Not trying to be a downer, but I would be surprised if there were a big turnout.

We don't care if we get a mega turn out, as long as get some people looking to have a good time with no up front cost I'll be happy. We've run these skirmishes on days with other big games, usually get 20+

I'll probably attend. I had a blast last time I went to a skirmish with a small turnout.

I don't have cash for Ricks game, I work Sundays so I can't play the CV game, I'll be at a private match the weekend before and thus miss that weekends Silverton game... Seems like this is perfectly timed and placed for me to show up to the scene again!

And... like I've said 2 years running only to have it come unglued on me - I have a work schedule with Saturdays off this summer so I hope to actually get out a bunch and play this summer!!
With all the pretty flowers and twigs in your ghillie.. perhaps you should take up gardening?

Is it free and are there any restrictions and gear rules? This will decide if me and my bros get to go. Thanks.

Original post should contain all event requirements, restrictions, etc (sometimes there are hyperlinks to the information). Events are free unless a cost is specified. Looks like this event is free and has no gear restricts aside from FPS limits on replicas.
