2 New Players coming to Vancouver..........

It's been a couple years later than expected, but my wife and I are finally making the trip out to Vancouver. We are packing our stuff up and moving hopefully by the end of the month, maybe the first week of Nov. at the latest.

Originally I had talked back and forth with the guys from Team SOTA but their website forum is down (error) and the private message I sent to one of the founding members has gone unanswered.

In a nutshell we are looking for a team to play on. I am more serious into the sport than my wife, but she has a limited loadout that she uses when she can play as well.

I've got loadouts for CQB or outdoors, can do regular greens (prefer tiger stripe) or contractor.

I've been involved in and around airsoft for at least the last six to seven years and have a number of replicas in my arsenal to fill multiple roles including Rifleman, Support, Recon, Demolition.

It might take me a bit to get settled out there, but I'd like to put it out there that we will be arriving in a few weeks and even if we could show up to some events for a meet and greet to get to know some of the local teams and community that would be great; we'd like to introduce ourselves.

If anyone from Team SOTA is still around let me know, if they are disbanded then so be it; I will entertain offers to meet other teams as well.

My advice is to come out to games and play with a few different groups. Each team is different, and you might like one style over another. There are actually quite a few teams in the PNW, some do CQC/"Milsim", some like the big field events, some like a little bit of everything. With summer ending, some teams might disappear or go on hiatus, while others may still make their presence noted.

If you are ever looking for a team to run with, my team almost always has players at games, and like to help people new to the area figure out how the PNW does airsoft.

As Jester said there are many teams locally, and many of them stop playing and training during the winter. We however are not one of them. I look forward to meeting you and having you out to one of our training events.
