If it's a few FPS over, it's not an issue. If It's way over, we'll tape over the selector switch, so it's semi only.

I'll be there with at least one other for the first game of the day. Have prior commitments about 2PM. Trying to see if I can get another three to come with. I may be short on guns for extra people though.

FOAD should have like 8 to 12 players. Working on getting more. How big is the area we will be playing in and is sniper and saw guns allowed? IF civilian clothes allowed we have a couple new players that may wanna join but they don't have any camo yet.

Not to jank your chain or single you out, but this always seems to come up.

If the limit is 400, isn't the limit 400? Having a gun that often seems to chrono 10 or 15 over may be an indicator that you could take a little accountability and invest in a $15 spring for yourself and other surrounding adversaries. Just a thought.

It's cool how the organizing members of this event are allowing you to run a DMR spot if you're too hot. I'm sure you're not an asshole, but there are assholes out there, and I think every player respecting the 400 limit is good for all of us.

---------------[Start Obligatory rant]---------------
It's the slippery slope. Is a little over ok? To me, a gun that fires three shots at 397, 403, 400 deserves a "you be nice with that gun, punk, or we'll beat you over the head with a hammer and poop on your car." Soon we're in the territory of 10 or 15 over. Some people have guns chrono-ing at 420, or higher, trying to gain entry.

If that seems to be a fun velocity for everyone, and we think modern guns which shoot hot out of the box shouldn't be downgraded, why not get together and lobby for a higher FPS limit in the community, instead of pleading for limited enforcement? Personally, I think existing rules should be enforced, since plenty of people are scary with a thing that shoots 400 fps on full-auto.
---------------[End rant]---------------

Maybe I'm just being a little baby, don't take me too seriously.
Please, nobody get butthurt!

I am so excite for this game..

So true but each Chrono reads different. Give or take say 15 fps. It is cool they will work with ya and make it a DMR. If your over the FPS just a little be care and respect other players.

^^If only everyone could obey that advice. It's hard to legislate out carelessness, and allowing exceptions for careful players changes the "rules" to guidelines.

Are you going to let a first-game-ever-minimum-entry-age-player do the ol' You're 10 over, just be careful.. trick? No. So why disadvantage him with a weaker and less intimidating gun, on top of his inexperience? It's just not fair.

I'm sorry for derailing this cool event thread.

Back on topic.

Will be there for the Zimmerman cartel. Might need to leave a bit early, though. Can't wait to suit up again after all summer.
