Nug and I had a great time. Met lots of new people, and saw lots of old buddies. It was my first time being involved with helping run anything in airsoft, and I have to say thanx to everybody there that kept the drama to a minimum. Admining was actually fun, and people were very receptive to suggestion. Good job guys. And to F.O.A.D., sorry about the admin deal on Sunday, and by all means you SHOULD HAVE SHOT BACK. Pretty sure the rest of our team would have beaten our shooter once they all started getting pelted!!! I for one really enjoyed having you guys out there, and had a great time shooting with, and at you!!!

Thanks to all that came out! Missus, Waffles and I had a great time! Hopefully the pics I took will be up in a few days. I took something like 650 pictures, which is a lot (give me a DSLR and I'll give you a full memory card).

I'd also like to thank everyone that came out that brought their A game. I only heard a couple players calling others hits (a no-no) and only had to call out one player (besides being a JDAM of DOOOOOOOOM). I saw a great attitude from everyone Saturday and Sunday.

Weasels, you guys did a good job Sunday.

I'd also like to thank all the vendors that came out! It's always great seeing goodies in person, and those peddling them!

Thanks to all the assholes who left garbage behind.
Kevin and I had to come back on Monday and fill a whole truck full of it.

WOW!!!!!!!! Where is the respect for the field owner and the host running the game? Maybe we need to start making charts of who is where and keep record if they leave a mess...... This goes for any and all host... If you need help on anything FOAD will help out as long as we are at the game or was at the game....

Yeah, people--putting your trash in a bag and then leaving it next to another trash bag does NOT count as packing out your own trash. You bringing your one bag home, that's a drop in garbage service's proverbial (and in this case sort of literal) bucket. But when 100 of you leave behind your bag (thanks for gathering it up, at least), well, it becomes a real hassle for the game host. Whoever it may be.

Happens at every game. If you put trash containers out, people will put trash in them rather than pack their stuff out. Then somebody has to haul it off. If you don't put trash containers out, you'll have random trash scattered everywhere. Is it too much to ask to throw it in your car and dump it in the trash can at home?

PSC cleaned up two bags of garbage, some was ours, some from neighboring booths. I made sure those bags went with us.

It's not that hard to simply bring some bags and police your areas people. Geez. :doubt:

We watched people put trash into bags and then claim it was someone elses'. Kevin and I yelled at parents putting their trash into cans when they were just picking up their kids. Shit is retarded.
It was mentioned multiple times throughout the event and was posted in the information, let alone every event at Sniperzden has required you to take your garbage out.
I've personally made the mistake of leaving last and carrying out two camp site's garbage, which left a nice puddle of whatever on the interior of my Jeep.
I can half understand kids, since the majority of them have mommy picking up after them, but the adults have no excuse other than their sense of self deserving bullshit.
As Matt said, this is a problem at every event.
Even when trash containers are put out, retards can't even make it to them half the time.

So, maybe i'm just dense, but....

Players pay for an event. You have trash cans to keep trash from being littered about. You collect trash and take to dump, usually if it's under 200lbs your around $20 to dump it. 400lbs is around $25.

Wouldn't it be better to add that into the plans for hosting a game than yell at people dropping kids off and getting pissed that people leave bags behind?

I understand that you have asked people to haul out their own trash, but really, it should be part of the host to figure that in.

On another note, wish i could have made it. Looked like lots of fun.

I didn't get to play this time around but it was good to get out and mingle with the community. I'm so surprised that so many people remembered me since I haven't been around for over two years now. That made coming up from California totally worth it.

Side note, I'm very disappointed with the new generation of players. It happens every year, I know, but the genuinely unfriendly nature of some of the individuals out put a bad taste in my mouth. Its cool to have your clique and talk shit about other teams and people, its part of the fun, but at least try to get acquainted with the people around you and respect the field!

Much love to you all! Slay bodies, eat babies.

That music, with that video, make the entire thing seem like satire. Nice to see some action-cam footage though.

They pay for the event, not trash services. If you bring stuff with you, it doesn't hurt to take it out when you leave.

It wasn't that bad this year with trash being left behind (save someone's tent packed with trash, OURS NOW MOTHERTRUCKER). Next year we may ask people as they check in if they have a trash bag. If not, we'll sell em one.

Just seems it would be easier to have the event host haul it, rather than fight each and every person for taking their own trash out.

Hell, even put out a bottle/can only bag and that would probably generate enough to pay for half the dump cost.
