Ran across this today. FPMS or Forward Pistol Mounting System.
Primarily meant for real steel but they also make an airsoft/paintball model as well.
Top mattress, Left cargo pocket. Ready... Move!

cool that they make a model for both. It would be nice if optics manufacturers would do the same :).

but its pretty cool. and although not entirely practical, its also not impractical. its in the grey area

I'd say a bit more impractical than practical. But Xzibit would be proud.
