Looking for an Airsoft Team for a short film.

Hey guys, my name is David West. I'm an aspiring filmmaker from Medford, Oregon, and I'm looking for extras to play paramilitary agents of a totalitarian state in an upcoming short film. My current plan is to just buy gear and outfit a handful of my friends, but I figured it'd be worth a shot to see if there was an actual team nearby that might be interested. It would be nice to have people with some semblance of weapon handling abilities so that I don't have to waste precious time (we're going to have a VERY quick shooting schedule) training them myself or having to do additional takes. Plus, it would save me a couple hundred bucks if my actors could bring their own gear, which would be nice since this is a no-budget production financed out of my own (very meager) wallet. I'd prefer a team near the Rogue Valley, but if you are interested in taking part in this and live further away, still feel free to message me and we can probably work something out to at least cover your transportation expenses.

No actual acting experience or talent beyond being able to convincingly hold a rifle is required, just a full, realistic load out. You don't necessarily have to be an adult to participate, but you need to be able to look convincing in the role, so I'm looking for relatively fit males. It's OK if your face looks to young; it will be hidden behind a mask. I'm going to need at least 5 or 6 guys.

I'd prefer a team with a look more reminiscent of a SWAT team (all black, basically, and with AR-platform weapons) then a military unit, but I can't be too picky, so as long you guys have relatively uniform gear, I'm happy. I can provide helmets, goggles, and balaclavas if you guys don't have them. I'll be making my extras as anonymous as possible so that I can re-use the 5 or 6 guys guys I have on set multiple times to create the illusion of a significantly larger force. This is part of the reason why uniformity is important. If you use your own weapons, the orange tips will HAVE to be convincingly and thoroughly blacked out.

The film will be shooting next month over Memorial Day weekend for a film making competition called The 168 Project. I can't say too much about the film just yet because I can't actually write the script (or know EXACTLY what my story will be) until the competition formally begins on May 13th. I do know many of the elements I'm going to be using in the film and what genre it is going to be, though, so I know what kind of resources I'm going to have to have lined up, and I'm currently working on getting set up with the actors, extras, set hands, and locations I'm going to need on standby to make this thing happen.

I can't really offer any pay beyond perhaps travel compensation, but you will be fed on set and you will receive credit. If you're interested, message me here or email me at David.Kirk.West@Gmail.com. Like I said, I'm looking for a team, but if you happen to be an independent airsofter near the Rogue Valley, you should still feel free to contact me, because if I can't find a team to fill the role, I will be looking for extras.

Below is my most recently released short film. We've actually since completed another, much better 20+ minute film, but I'm still fine tuning and editing it and it won't be released until after I shoot my next project in May. The film below - Enemies - was shot on the fly on a cross-country road trip with no money and nothing but a camera and anything we happened to have in the car with us. Hopefully it will let you know that I am at least a competent filmmaker and that this isn't just going to be some silly, low-brow production.

You may have more luck posting a list of what kit you want used and see how many people have that kit and will turn out. From what I can glean from your first post:

Black uniform
Black webgear
AR-15 platform
Helmet

So things expand on:
Uniform cut
Webgear type (MOLLE, vest or plate carrier, etc.)
Sub-type of platform (color, furniture, optics, etc.)
Helmet type
Boots
And the like.

There are a lot of people with a lot of gear, but you need to specify if you really want uniformity.
