Interest in Hydro-dipping service?

Postby Alien_Hunter » Sun Apr 21, 2013 3:54 pm

I'm interested in Hydro Dipping and want to buy a kit, but it's a lot of $$ just for one item. Would anyone be interested in having their items custom dipped?

-Select a pattern, I'll order it to my house.
-Mail the item w/ instructions
-I'll dip it, send you pics
-if you're satisfied, use Paypal and give me the agreed amount, then I'll ship it back.
^^^^^
(cost of pattern, the service and return shipping)

Here is the process:

Hydro Dipping is a way to put graphics on most material in a consistent way. I've checked it out on the Sniper's Hide forum, and they've rated it as durable. There's no kind of spray paint or painting done.

Here's some pics (not my work)

I would hydro dip other items as well, the uses are limitless.

Sounds like a great idea, I would definitely pay to get my gun hydro-dipped. As long as you know what you're doing :D I'm assuming you'll also take cash instead of PayPal? And any idea of how much dipping, say, a normal M4 would cost? Just curious.
This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me my rifle is useless. Without my rifle, I am useless.

I live in Cali :( this Web site was recommended by some friends. I would definitely get my technique down first. I am a pretty skilled person, working with wires, mechanical parts, tools, etc. This start-up is just the thing I was looking to do.

Edit: dipping the whole gun I'd probably charge $100 all said and done, hopefully I could do it for cheaper.
-Most companies charge several hundred dollars minimum, but it's the Real Steel and has to be heat resistant; etc.

Today's payday, if there's anyone interested I'll buy a kit and post my results. Just need 3 or 4 people interested.
