Allow me to introduce myself, AP.
My name is Mason, a native Portlander. I go by the callsign Ruff, and I currently reside in Stanwood, WA with my wife and son. I am the Media Director and Tech at the local store, Mad Dawg Paintball and Airsoft, which is owned and operated by former US Navy Chief, Dale Burt (who we affectionately call "Chief"). Chief is a certified Master Airsmith for paintball, and is eagerly learning the ins-and-outs of airsoft guns from myself and local players.
We are looking to improve our presence in the airsoft community by connecting with more players and offering friendly service. Chief is an assistant organizer for a local airsoft Meetup group: Snohomish County Youth Airsoft. This group holds a monthly game at a local facility, Paintball Station, and is designed for players ages 17 and under; it provides a safe and new-player-friendly environment for kids and their parents/guardians. This is essentially a sub-group to the Snohomish County Airsoft Group, which has a minimum age limit of 17, and is also a Meetup group we participate in.
Our store is small, but we are attracting more and more interest as our quality improves. We are excited to announce that we have just become a dealer for esstac, another locally owned and operated tactical gear company here in Washington. Stu, the owner, is another US Navy Vet, and we are proud to be joining forces with him. Please check out his company online here: http://www.esstac.com
Additionally, we have also just become a dealer for Dytac! Now, our players can get products previously only available from overseas retailers. Our first order of AEGs should be in our store by the end of the week.
Please help us continue to support and be active in the airsoft world! Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Mad-Dawg-Paintball-Airsoft/244490765561153?fref=ts give us a "like"!
We will also be launching a YouTube channel very soon that will provide an additional source of information for airsofters everywhere regarding products in our store / the airsoft world in general. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for an announcement concerning the channel's launch.
Last thing I would like to say is that when I first began airsofting as a young kid, I encountered Brad's store, Airsoft Outlet NW; I actually bought my first gun from him at a gun show (a TM Famas). Mr. Martin had just begun carrying airsoft products around that time; I would frequent his store often, even when I didn't have the cash to make a purchase. I simply enjoyed the environment and the opportunity to be immersed in the airsoft world. As a result, working in an airsoft store has always been a dream of mine, and now that this dream has been realized, I intend to make the most of it by providing the community with the best possible service. I want nothing more than to see Chief and his store succeed, as well as our community of young and experienced players continue to grow. Hopefully, one day, we can have a space as incredible as Airsoft Outlet Northwest's!
If you guys have questions, either about myself, Chief, or our store and what we do, please feel free to message me either here or on Facebook (Facebook gets checked and updated the most frequently). I am excited to once again participate in the AP forums as I once did as a kid.
Regards,
Ruff
