@Jester:

Rick knows where I'm coming from here. Being shot at is hella fun to me, but this guy told people to shoot me in the head on purpose. And he even shot me in the head himself at least a hundred times. I am not kidding when I say I have nerve damage and will probably require surgery to get it repaired. I think what this guy did was completely out of line and excessive.

However, I could have worn a helmet. So thats what I'll do from now on. And heck yeah, I'll play supersoldier again. It was AWESOME, and I love how people reacted to it (the ones who read the handbook that is, there were some people like "uhh whats a super soldier do?" which caused mass confusion.)

Note to everybody- read. The. Handbook.

I had a great time, that last attack from the fort to the town was the best.

As for the super soldier, I heard people bitching about it, but I thought it was a great way to end a stale mate. I know several people joked about shooting you in the crotch, but I never imagined they would follow through with it, I only saw you once walking back to spawn. The hand book I printed said the solder was in development still, I must not have printed the last update.

In the end, the people pulling the triggers are responsible for their own actions, no matter how much peer pressure was put on them, the whole "if you were told to jump off a bridge" thing comes to mind.

Next time I'll bring my saws and 60 even tho all the spots were called for, we could have really used a few.

That was kinda the point, to tip the balance lol. And no I took several crotch shots from snipers and others, but thats why they invented the athletic cup. The only time I've been crotch-shot was at Operation Jungle Express as "Pablo Suarez" and it was a total accident, which is why we all found it hilarious, even me while lying in the dirt writhing in pain, I couldn't stop laughing. It was the shots to my head that went too far at LOW6, but even I believe in the age old saying "S**t happens." i just hope people will use their heads a little better next time and not aim for mine, because my injuries sustained as a result of irresponsibility aren't as hilarious as an accidental squirrel-tap.

And this game was the test run to ensure the technology would work, so your handbook was correct, as the tech is in fact still under development, a field test was required to discover the needed upgrades and refinements, and the amount of data collected was significant, so thanks to everyone who shot at me in places OTHER than my head lol!

The upgrades to further the supersoldier currently include the use of a helmet, a full coverage collar, helmet mounted lights and possibly a camera, thigh protection and some integrated electronics. Any feedback and/or suggestions should be PM'd directly to me so I can assess their feasibility and apply them to the suit. It will be greatly appreciated!

Great flippin' game! I was on Mehdi and that hill was a righteous phony pony. Well done to those who held it for so long and so well. I do believe if it weren't for the super soldier I'm not sure we would have taken it. Good sportsmanship. Good players. Good game. Hard Drive and I had a bloody blast!

Loved the Super Soldier idea. It really allowed the balance to be shifted and required us to play in more than just one area of the field (didn't allow us to just sit up at the log fort and plink at everyone trying to rush the hill).

I'm hearing several challenges:
1. Getting people to sign up for an event.
2. Getting people to show up for an event.
3. Getting people to read the handbook.
4. Getting people to checkin with leadership in a timely manner.
5. Getting waivers signed.
6. Getting people any/all updated information about the event.

Would it be possible ways to automate some of these challenges?

1. Sign up via a web form where the player is automatically added to the roster AFTER admin approval.
2. Create AP Points...sign up, show up = gain points. sign up, flake out = lose points. Points = discounts or extra raffle tickets.
3. Place the handbook in something like DropBox or Google Docs where users would be automatically notified of any updates via email.
4. Email to all players with a link to web form for automatic checkin including option to checkin with team members.
5. Use http://Smartwaiver.com - Link waiver signing process to handbook links and information (I use it and know the owner)
6. See #3.

Just some ideas.

Great Game! Loved the Bus! Thanks Idaho guys for making the trip! http://rwaairsoft.com http://magairsoft.com/

Had a great time! Just wanna give props to the Mehdi 3rd platoon. That bunker fight was tough, but we kicked a$$!! Teams SOS, and BOP were stellar at keeping the pace going. That was my first game as a platoon leader and I had an awesome game. I'll definitely do that again. Thanks to Darius137 for leading us to a glorious victory of the EDG. Another great game Rick.

I have to say this was one of the best games I have been out to in a long time. There did not seem to be as many reports of players not calling hits, at least that I was made aware of.

It was great to see some old faces, as well as some new ones.

On a side note, I have somebody's hi-cap mag.. orange tape around the bottom, shoot me a PM and we can work something to get it back to you. Also, can the gentleman from the Seattle group with the KC-02 shoot me a PM, I was able to come up with a lead for the barrel you are looking for.

The super soldier was a great idea. It helped change the flow of a game that often gets thrown into the same boring lines and stalemates.

I didn't really like the Skittles variety of Merc teams however. Their allegiance was so back and forth that many out on the field simply didn't know what the shazaam to do about them. I myself just hid and avoided them on sight, preventing myself from dealing with their wavering allegiances and shooting me in the back. No offense to those on Merc teams themselves by the way, I'm sure you guys were doing what you were told.

I ran into little to no problems with people calling their hits, and only had to yell at a kid sitting down that I just shot in plain sight try to radio in my position. Hilarious to be honest, dead men tell no tales! There was an odd issue about the boundaries between forces near the gravel car pit, with one section of it closed, and another open. That needs to be rectified in the future. I only had to bust out my player admin card on someone once, and it was someone spawn camping our temporary log fort position. I'll let the mechanics of the buying of the position and the subsequent airstrike that followed on it by the opposing force, but never should someone be allowed to camp our spawn in plain open just because he is "50" feet away. That sounded more like the rule for bolt action engagement distances to me, and you said it with a grin on your face. I'm gonna shazaam your face next time for that, Rick! :)

You were awesome with 3rd platoon, Bob-Rabbit, and your Platoon did exactly what we wanted.

Also thanks to Rock Steady and 1st Platoon and Whiskey 1. You guys rocked that Eastern flank.

Up the middle I guess Jester did okay. :p bleeding SpecDet/RR/ISAF/CAG/PLA/SOTA. Bitches. All of them. ;-)

As one of the Defenders of BB hill ( There was a sign posted calling it that I dont know what it's tactical name is) I have to give props to the Mehdi attackers. A lot of you guys had us scared out of our minds going WHERES THE NEXT ATTACK GOING TO BE WHERE, BB's from the right flank. Everyone was convinced we would lose that hill from just about the moment the game began. Way to go I'm impressed by the pressure you put on it.
