Sights on KWA P226 loose

Postby Nark » Thu Mar 21, 2013 10:14 pm

Hey guys, So my front and rear sights are loose. If anyone has had the same problem what did you do to fix them? I've got super glue and a metal-to-metal bonding but not sure which would work best.

super glue works well, just remember to remove the stuff that leaks out the seams and stuff. Or else you have dried superglue on your slide and that looks bad.

If you are looking for a less permanent solution, you could just cut a very thin strip of tape and put it underneath the sights as a shim. (Which type of tape you use depends on how much space there is. Athletic tape is probably ideal if you have room.)

Wrap some Teflon tape, then hit it with a lighter to get it more secure.
