Natural Camo In A SINGLE Can

I was picking up some cans of paint for my rifle project at home depot today, and I spotted something somewhat new.

RustOleum came out with a new paint called Stone Spray. They come in different palettes, AND they have a nice textured grippy finish once it's dry. I just thought I'd share this info because if I was doing a camo-job on my rifle, I would definitely have gone with the stone spray instead of flat matte paint.

I really like that it is textured...
There was someone who posted a sponge-painted A-TACS on a weap. I've also seen Vernonia-flage posted before, and this looks like it'd be super useful for an A-TACS or fake mud look.

That will definitely be going on my shopping list; sponge-painted AK, coming right up.

It looks great if you're playing on a granite counter top Naw it looks fine I would test it out on some cardboard or wood first. Out in Los Padres national Forest it would look killer on a M40a5 with all the quartz and gravel, assuming the can is accurate to the actual result.

The paint looks great! Though, I'd recommend trying out the spray on something cheaper than your project rifle.
I.E, a cheapo springer pistol.
Though, in advance, I' don't have much experience in terms of painting projects. My advice may not be heralded as solid and good, but, it's my best genuine guess.

Although, I'd be curious to where this particular spray would be most effective, although it looks really well textured and realistic for a more arid environment.

I used a textured Rustoleum paint back when I did a fern pattern on my Aug. The texturing is awesome so long as you make sure not to lay it on too thick. Keep your distance uniform while spraying. I think I did 2 coats on mine and it's lasted for years. I'm surprised I haven't seen more replicas out there with textured paint jobs.
