Injuries!

Postby Spitfire » Sat Dec 08, 2012 10:19 pm

What are the most painful shots you've ever had to endure in airsoft?

Worst injuries?

Great stories of pain?

I've never been badly "injured" yet, but today I recently felt a BB hit my ear at ~375 FPS. There was so much power in the BB that the general impact with my ear made my ear ring for about 5-10 minutes. It was the worst pain I've ever dealt with in this sport, and I've been shot in the teeth, knuckles, crotch, and one time I was shot in the back of my head twice from 10 feet away at 350 FPS.

Anyways

Most painful shot ever? Anywhere on the backs of the legs and arms, feel like gigantic bees stinging you.

Funniest pain story ever- We were at a free skirm a couple months ago at Ivan's and we were sitting around the spawn point and I'm looking away from the others. My teammate shoots me side of the head right behind the ear with his pistol. So after losing it for a second and once he calmed me down I went over and casually pulled my pistol and pressed it against his leg and nudged him. He looked down as I shot him in the leg.

Nice! Unfortunately, our local fields aren't really that big, so I've never had the opportunity to be flanked from behind and feel that kind of pain! I will have to avoid it even more. haha

My worst injuries would have to be when I got a spooked, resulting in me diving 15ft forward down a hill. The second would be the time I got a bb jammed into one of my fingers.

Talk to Kendo; whenever I'm on the team opposing him my BBs seem to be drawn to the tip of his hot dog.

Not Airsoft related, but when playing paintball in 1992 i while trying to out flank an opponent I broke my right ankle. The following weekend me and 2 teammates went on to win a 5 man tournament at Splat action. That is only 3 people one of witch had a broken ankle. It wasn't the most fun day , but we got the job done. I still have the trophy and pic's for memories. :D

1)
A group that I was with wanted me to be in front since I had a scope to try to find enemies. I'm on a hill top next to a tree and all of a sudden I see white clouds and fall back. I stood up real quick (too quick) and fell back down. My group was trying to figure out what happened. Well stupid me I got sniped by "PHIZ". He was about 150 ft away and hit me right on the side of my upper nose. When I stumbled back I went to 1 knee to grab my eye wear to grab my nose. Inside my goggles was the Bb that I got shot with. I was really mad at first but then calmed down after a few.

2)
Our team was out practicing and just started playing "Taking the Hill" (Planning on playing for 3-4 hrs). I'm the last guy on the bottom of the hill and I try to move sideways shooting the hill. At the same time so was one of their other guys. about 125 - 150 ft shooting full auto and hits me in the mouth and broke my front tooth. My reaction of getting hit was turn my head side ways (ear on shoulder) and looking in the direction I was going. Leaving my neck towards the shooter. I ended up getting shot 2 times on the roof of my mouth. How ever I kept playing for like 3 more hours but had trouble breathing thru my mouth due to the nerves of my tooth.

I don't think that's a coincidence :P

The first time I was shot in the mouth kind of scared me because the inside of my lip was bleeding, but my tooth was just fine. It just gave me a massive headache. Afterwards, though, I popped on Amazon and bought me a Hakkotsu Iron Face. Wonderful purchase.

It's a tie for me... I got shot from by a 480fps Bar-10 with PDI upgrades from about 20 feet away in the earlobe, which bled quite a lot... And then I got my pinky nail torn off by a BB when I was shot from under 7 feet away with a stock JG 416...

I once had a BB go into my ear. Thankfully it didn't damage anything, but JESUS it hurt. The scream of pain I made and my falling over turned quite a few heads.

One of our fairly new members ( 1week ) to airsoft got an M4 and took it home. His buddy asked if it hurts if you get hit and our member said "I have no idea I have never been shot". Sooo his buddy grabbed the gun and shot him self in the leg at point blank range. I guess his friend answered his own question.

I guess the worst injuries I've ever indured while playing airsoft was the time the group I was with was trying to sneak around during a rabbit hunt. I stealthily stepped in an undur ground bee's nest and was stung 2 or three times, and while I was fleeing the bees I was safety killed by one of the rabbits.

I stepped in a hole once and thought I sprained my ankle, got x-rays a few days later and turns out I had broken my leg in three places. That was a fun game...
