Those pictures lack Mexican SF, dud.

Anyways, some photos from the last Wendyland game of some NATO Forces, featuring the world-renown SPECDET1:

You get to take part in various nature walks, which are very stress-reliving might I add:

I picked up a dandelion or two and added them to my boot.

We also have dudes who will fill up your water bladders and stuff with hydrogen-oxygen compounds:
(DON'T RELY ON THEM. THEY'RE SNEAKY SOMETIMES.)

And some British dudes, with some SD1 guys it looks, some dudes wearing woodies, some ISAF, and some MARSOC guys.

That one looks angry.

You'd better get in shape, I hear there's a lot of hiking. Karma I'm not worried about...

I'm in worse shape than Mike and I was fine.
The only shitty part was when everyone would feel the need to run a about 200 yards up the road to just bunch up and stand around. Actually, I ended up dragging the skinniest guy on our team up the hill.
The pace was actually pretty slow with plenty of sitting around time. Only those carrying heavy loads really suffered.

As long as you are in a reasonable amount of physical fitness and you come mentally prepared you will be fine.

I cannot stress this enough - there will be times when you will be physically stressed however as long as you come mentally prepared for this to happen with more regularity and to a greater degree then your normal OP you will be fine.

Will there be game play on Friday the 14th or will it be a day to set up camp and what not. I am just trying to see if I need to request that day off of work as well.

The OP doesn't start until Friday evening, when people are first allowed to show up, but actual combat operations will not begin until Saturday.
We highly recommend people show up Friday evening so that they can become aquanted with their squad mates, their chain of command, as well as be able to start training early on Saturday.

At the last event of the majority of NATO (and Russians) showed up on Friday, which allowed them to meet everyone on their side as well as plan on initiate training on Saturday morning. Their performance was MUCH improved over the previous OP due in large part to this.

I am not involved with check-in but I believe the cut off time for the last event was 10-11, and I think those numbers will be similar for this one.

I'll be investing in some better gear to make an appearance. I was kicking myself for not attending the other two after seeing the "G.I.L. news reports", looked really awesome.

Thanks for the info guys. If snake eyes is back in time for us to receive our multicam (very grateful to him) then ill wear that. Otherwise I will just run Marpat. Maybe I can convince my sergeant to come out to this. Bring a few marines out
