Where: Birbaria(Orting, WA)
When: December 14-16
Cost: TBA

From the people that brought you Spearhead Wendyland and The Wendyland Conflict comes the next event, Breakout: Birbaria! Will take place on December 14-16 in Orting, WA!

Don't miss out on the premier milsim event this winter.

On September 16th TF Coolguy, part of the NATO 1st International Combat Team, conducted a series of successful special operations, civil affairs missions and combined arms assaults to clear Russian Spetsnaz and recon elements out of Birbaria (a fiercely tribal region of the former R
epublic of Wendyland).

On September 17th 2012, the armed forces of the Russian Federation launched a massive offensive throughout the entire trans-wendyland middle caucus region. Although well prepared for the onslaught NATO forces are being pushed slowly back into an increasingly smaller defensive perimeter. The Russian advantage in manpower and material is slowly wearing down the elite international troops of the NATO ICTs. As NATO reserve forces struggle to mobilize and the long winter settles in to Birbaria the situation for TF Coolguy becomes more precarious by the day. NATO forces are retreating on all fronts except for Birbaria where the 1st ICT holds on to region of Birbaria and it's capitol city of Pigtopolis. This pocket of defense has become known "The Birbarian Bulge".

But continuous offensive operations have run the advancing Russian forces ragged. Attacking at the limit of their supply lines and fierce resistance from determined NATO units has slowed the momentum of the Russian attack. As the Russian forces approach close to Pigtopolis and complete encirclement of NATO 1st ICT TF Coolguy prepares to attempt a counter attack to reverse the Russian advances and open the way for a link up between 1st ICT and NATO reserves. The foreboding mountains and woods of the Aredems forest stand between the Russian advance and Pigtopolis. A well coordinated counterattack here could change the outcome of the entire conflict.

MORE TO FOLLOW.

If you are interested in this game, and are not part of a team already, message me if you'd like to join us.

We are looking to fill a Platoon sized element, and currently have a squad of international troops and a squad of British (the 144 is joining us). We are looking for either another squad to round out our platoon (6-15 troops), or individuals who would like to run in British DPM, a non-US NATO camouflage and loadout, or as American in Multicam or ACUs.

Who I am: Darius137, Airsofter for a dozen years, military for over 9 years in the Infantry (Airborne, Light and Mechanized). I will be leading the Platoon, and will help with the planning and organization process, as well as hosting some pre-mission rehearsals and training.

Who we are: ISAF-C, a Milsim airsoft team that has played together through various names, and is now a group hell bent on doing an international themed coalition of NATO, US and other nations' militaries, under a single UN/ISAF banner.

Why join us for this game: We have a collection of seasoned airsoft veterans, as well as newer players, and a fun collection of nations, from Swedish to German to American, with strong attendance at both previous MSW MILSIM games (Wendyland, Spearhead).

How to contact us: Go to our website ( http://www.cascadianairsoft.com ) and make an account (then PM me so I can activate the account), find our group on Facebook ( https://www.facebook.com/groups/2436012 ... 6/?fref=ts ) or PM me on AP, here.

I would love to see things such as uniform requirements, thinking about attending but need to determine what gear is needed and what side for my current gear if so. If anybody could get this info to me it would be greatly appreciated.

The MSW Wendyland series follow NATO forces vs. Russian in a vague Russian satellite state. Russian side is very mixed, but promotes real Russian uniforms, AK variants and Russian web gear.

The NATO side is looking for teams with NATO themes such as last game Spearhead, where SpecDet 1 ran in RAID modified woodland, to simulate American Special Forces working alongside the local militia forces, who wore US Woodland. My team, ISAF-C wore Multicam as NATO troops, and the 144 wore British DPM as a small British detachment.

Basically, wear modern NATO troop uniforms and you'll be fine. If you're in ACUs or Multicam, and wearing a Plate Carrier and helmet, you're good to go.

Also keep in mind, they have usually said that to wear a certain NATO camo, everyone in the squad must be wearing the same.
