New from the Portland / Beaverton area

Hey all, my name's Will! I'm currently a Junior at Portland State working hard for my degree in Computer Science. Back in High School, I was pretty seriously into Airsoft. Yet, when my Airsoft buddies and I split ways in our choices of College, I sort of got out of it all together.

Though these days I'm stupidly busy with class and my job as a volunteer coordinator at PSU, I'd really, really like to get back into the game and meet some cool new people. As we speak, I'm carefully looking over the event calendar to find something I can safely commit myself to time-wise.

So, that's my introduction! I'm really hoping to make it out to an event sometime soon. Does anyone have a recommendation of a good event for a noob flying solo for the first time?

There is a game in October at Camp R&R on the 27th, called Mummie's Curse. R&R games have a strong reputation for being fun and light-hearted. I'd go to that!
