Small(ish) EDC pack?

What bothered me about those Condor packs too is that they put a row of PALs across the Velcro patch on the back of the patch, rendering both the PALs AND the Velcro completely useless. It's just seems like one of those really stupid obvious things to foul up.

I've had good luck with DaKine backpacks. I've had a Heli Pro for the past 5 years and it's held up awesome. Used it for snowboarding, hiking, high school, shoeshoeing, being a hobo, as a pillow, as a seat, the list goes on. It's looks small and low profile, but it really holds a lot of shit.

It'll be 3 years before Quigly can pack anything exciting in the briefcase and backpacks are way more comfortable. I tried a few kinds of messenger bags and briefcases in high school and I wish I'd just bought a good, durable backpack.

One strap bags may look cool, but in the long run the will make your back uneven. I misaligned mine slightly from wearing a 15 lb guitar almost daily for at least an hour. Take it as you will. I prefer a regular two strap backpack. Much more comfortable.

That's actually really smart. They get to stick their logo on your bag. If you don't like it, a seam ripper will take the logo right off. Then you have some useful velcro. It may appear dumb at first, but what it really is, is a hidden blessing.

I am fairly set in a backpack. Although a couple of those maxpedition gearslingers, although the weight imbalance might be an issue, even with the higher ride they use.
