THE GREAT MULTICAM GIVEAWAY!!!!

Image

Many of you know that I've been deployed for the last year to Southern Afghanistan. I will be returning to the GREAT USA very soon (~30days) at which point this giveaway will occur. I decided that giving away some of my Multicam uniforms to this great community would help a lot of people out. I just sent out a mass email to everyone in my unit if they'd be interested in donating their uniforms to Airsofters who can't afford Multicam unforms and many are on board. Thus the Great Multicam Giveaway has been born! There are some rules to consider and some disclaimers. I plan on distributing these unforms out as soon as possible. At this time I have tentatively 15 sets of Multicam. This could grow or shrink.

***ATTENTION***

I have closed the Give Away and will no longer be accepting further requests. This is due to finances as shipping them home is very expensive for a guy trying to pay for the majority of his own wedding (Sending two large boxes of uniforms at $130.00 per box sent home due to weight and over sized box fees is a killer, and alcohol is spendy :doubt: ). I will update the final roster later this evening. All the uniforms I have acquired have been washed twice.

About the sizing, as I have many different types of tops and bottoms when I distribute them I will try to match you up with the correct size. For tops, Long/Short is a designation for the arm length. For pants its a designation for the leg length. So if you get a Medium Long Top and the sleeves are too long but we can't find a shorter arm length, have your mom or a seamstress chop the length off and hem it.

SET INCLUDES
[*]Multicam Shirt
[*]Multicam Pants

The Rules for the Multicam Giveaway:

1) You must
NOT already own Multicam Blouse/Trousers
2) Must write a brief description of your current load out and why you deserve a set IN THIS THREAD (please keep my inbox from getting full). Include your WAIST and INSEAM measurements
3) Are in good standing on the AP forums. (Matt I'll ask you or another admin)
4) Have no intentions of reselling the uniform
5) Provide me a PM with contact information.
6) Ideally be willing to have their picture taken with their new uniform
7) Understand that these uniforms are USED-NEW. If you are unhappy with the set you're given you forfeit your gift of Camo and it will be re-gifted to someone else.
8) I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANYONE A UNIFORM

As some of you know I shipped these uniforms on my own dime so that you can use a real uniforms and not have to pay money with it. The cost of doing that was nearly $350.00 to ship them to the USA from Afghanistan. Now normally I'd bite the bullet but I'm getting married and my future wife and I are paying for our own wedding due to the economy. Some of you have been generous and donated gas money for driving up to Portland and I am extremely grateful. Driving from Medford to the Portland area is roughly $120 dollars one way. So now that you are aware I still want this to be in the spirit of cheap uniforms. I will still give these out for free but I have to be frugal how many trips I'm making to Portland. Any amount is appreciated.

:Application:

Hi I've been on AP since January and have tried to establish a good standing here. I am unsure of what people think of me but i help all my local friends with Airsofting. I do want to clarify that i bought a set of Multicam BDU from here but was purchased for my friend who does not have internet. I would love a nice fitting set of BDU because i have spent a great deal investing into this sport . I use a plate carrier w/ foam plates and a SRC tan/black M4 that goes well with Multicam. My measurements are WAIST: 32" and i am unsure of inseam. I know i wear standard Medium/Regular Trousers and Medium/Regular Blouse sizes for BDU. I would love to take my picture for your giveaway if i am accepted.

Pretty cool thing you're doing there, Patrick. This is a prime chance to get your Afghan rig together, folks! Me, I'd love an authentic Afghan Dismaal (scarf) and a brown Pakol (hat). I'll get in touch with you later about ISAF patches too. Thank you in advance.

Hi I am interested in a uniform not for myself, but for my girlfriend. I wear a MultiCam set(pants/combat shirt) and would really like her to match. We are both in college, well, will be come Fall, so our spending money is less than appreciative. She's been playing for less than a year and pretty much always uses my guns. But I would like to get her fully involved ASAP with a proper combat uniform, a gun, and her own gear. I can supply the gear and gun, but I don't have any extra uniforms in her size. A piece of head gear would be appreciated, but unnecessary if the need is too great. I will ask her about pics, but she is not too big on photo shoots.

She wears Medium Regular/Short trousers and SMALL/Regular jacket/shirts.

Thanks.

BATTLEFIELD
Bye.

I am doing a US SF kit and do not have Multicam. I've been looking for a set of USGI 'Cam for a while now, because the propper stuff feels too stiff.
Kitlist:
EPC with Mag pouches, etc.
FAST helmet(replica)
Danner Ft. Lewis boots
multicam(hopefully)
5.11 wrist coach
Oakley gloves
And I will be using my KWA SR12/KM-16

My waist measurement is 34, my inseam is 33-34

Maybe a few members should nominate a few good people. Or second a request to be considered. I think this is great. Hopefully it wont turn out horrible for you Snake Eyes.

I personally would like to speak for Maginus, he doesn't currently own a MC set. Tho the rest of his team does. He runs an OD vest, M4, bolt, mp7 depending on the mood. He is about a 32 waist, maybe 34, and about a 30 length.

Way to be a BAMF snake eye's. Hope you have safe travel's home.

1) I'd like a dismall and a Pakol.

2) If they become available, I'd love the option to pick up a combat shirt. I have Multicam, but would like the issue version combat shirt, if the option is there.

3) I have a friend who is a paramedic, and if possible, I'd like to enter him for a set of Multicam uniforms. Can post story shortly.

I traded them for an optic a long time back.

Re: Multicam Give Away from Afghanistan

Hello, My loadout consists of a Vietnam tigerstripe repro uniform, Tan issue boots and an Ospery mk2 dpm carrier. My sizes are 32in waist-pretty much a medium, small upper, and if available a patrol cap in 7.5 or larger. A small bio of myself should help explain why I "deserve" a uniform or at least be in the line up for one. I'm a collector at heart and I cherish anything military related. To quench this need, I go thrift shopping at least twice a week but I have never been able to find a Multicam uniform. To add to this I absolute hate replica uniforms and make very little exceptions to buy them. Also due to my collection I own quite a few uniforms, every single one was purchased second-hand to some degree. And top it off after 3 years of playing I still haven't purchased an AEG( though I have been borrowing a CYMA Ak74 from a friend for quite some time) but hope to finally make up my mind and buy one already. Due to these reasons I believe I would make a perfect home for one of the sets.

-Sincerely,

Adam E. Embree aka "Shadowsta13"
