Perhaps I should do this now.

Postby Spitfire » Mon Aug 13, 2012 12:27 pm

Hello Fellows. My name is Chase, and my state of origin is Washington.

My airsoft influence came from my brother about 3 years ago, when he gave me a small plastic pistol that shot small plastic pellets. Being so young though(12?), after the pistol broke, I had to get more! I bought a new gun, the Echo 1 Mp5k PDW, and fell in love with this sport.

Now, to date, I'm 15 years old, me and a friend run an "Elite" force of tactical mercenaries. We go to local games in the area and usually do pretty good, last match(I don't really know how good this is or if I'm bragging, sorry) I managed 14 kills in a single round, mostly because I'm not one of those young kids that no-one wants on their team, and I can usually stay under military lines without being detected for long periods of time.

My current loadout is -
Tan MilSpec Lightweight boots
Milspec Digital ACU pants
Tactical Belt - Tan
ACU holster with springer(purely for looks)
Lightweight Khaki T-Shirt
12-mag NcStar vest
MilSpec Hydration Carrier
2-point Tan Sling
Tan Sniper's veil wrapped around neck& mouth
Smokey UVEX Stealth goggles
ACU Patrol Cap

Gun-
Matrix X36c Custom(JG Rebrand with chrome-plated inner barrel, and a Foliage Green Polymer-Fiber body)
MagPull AFG1 - Black
NcStar 7-Intensity RDS
Matrix 9.6v High-Output Nunchuck
No internal mods yet, I'm planning on better bucking, h-nub, Python V2 363mm barrel, barrel extension, a new cylinder, spring guide, and a re-shim to the gearbox.

I am currently loving this forum, as it adds to my resources in airsoft, and I greatly appreciate everyone who has helped me out so far. :D

In the future I plan to make a CQB field in the Portland, OR - Longview, WA region. One kind of modeled after the COD:BOps map named "Firing Range".

Spitfire, welcome to the boards.

You'll get two kinds of responses. One is that you're not 'elite', and how many kills in a game is pretty much irrelevant. The other is 'Welcome, and pay attention'. There's a lot of info out there, and giving your experience when someone else's knowledge is more relevant can make you look bad in the eyes of others.

However, if you can understand that this forum is not a bragging platform, and we don't rank based on post count, kills per game, or how cool your gear is, then you'll get along fine. Quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger.

Why write an introduction when you've got somewhere over fifty posts... We kind of know who you are by then.

I wasn't bragging about my loadout, or kills. I was just explaining what I got, and telling you guys that I'm not one of those kids that runs around the field screaming and giving your position away. It's not all that fun when you have kids like that.

Bad Karma wrote:When is Summer over, again?

Sometime in September.
now go back to /b/

Commiehunter, I wasn't looking for either. I figured I can structure my introduction how I want, and if people hate, I really don't care. Thanks for the welcoming. :D

Hamster, you don't know who I am if I post 50 times. What if all my posts said "lol"? All you would know about me is that I like the acronym lol. 50 is fairly small considering some members on here are way up into the thousands. It's never too late to properly introduce yourself to people.

Pacman - Keep your ideas about 15 year old boys in showers to yourself.

JamesW - ACU is the official camo of the U.S. Army. It DOES work, despite what people say. I've had great luck with ACU, better than when I used woodland. That, and that map from COD is amazing. Go look at it, I dare you. It'd be one of the best CQB ranges in the nation if done right. It seems as though I've done nothing wrong. What have you done?!?

Sir Stubby, Evil Zergling(Starcraft is the best game ever, Protoss ftw), Nark, Orwell, and Commie - Thank you. :D

I just had to correct you :D . Your statement is atleast partially true since some people wear the shittest conditions of woodland bdu's. Welcome to AP.

dat shit be getting phased out.

Anything works. Just some patterns better than others, and depends on various instances like where you're positioned, how much noise you;re making, and the list goes on.
