i cannot for the life of me figure out how to put a picture on my signiture i feel stupid. anyone wanna tell me how :|

Use bb code and an image hosting website like photobucket.

Example:
[img]http://.urlthingy.com/the_image%20_you_want_to_post[/img]

It's just as if you were posting an image to a forum.
