I like the velcro concept for the door. We will be looking into that.

Yah brother I feel you on deployment; good to know you're safe. Thanks for the comments on the indoor aspect of it. I havn't seen many pictures of FLW or Sapper school but I will have to search it. I fear the only way we may be allowed to kick in doors is if someone wasn't on the other side. So during scenario play or a certain game type they would be allowed i.e. (Team A has to breach the jail and rescue the downed pilot) So we would make being inside the "jail" off limits so we wouldn't have to worry about someone getting TBI from players kicking in the door.
Strobes is also something else I want to stay away from. I like lighting effects. That being said I refer to Gel Lighting, nothing to crazy just something to change the tint of the room. No lazer shows. As for smoke, fog machines will be a great benefit if done right.
Also with the music, we want to include it but we don't want to make it cheezy/cheap. Stay safe.

Thanks for the experiences on drywall. We have figured the shape and size of our buildings, but we are stuck on the materials to use for the wall. Drywall, Sheetrock, OSB Sheathing, Plexiglass, PEG board, Netting. We are covering everything, we need it to be light but durable. Easy to move but wont fall over when someone dives into it on accident. My father-in-law has over 30 years of construction and contracting experience. We were discussing it last night, but unable to come up with a solid solution on what to use for walls.
I have not heard of PALCO, but I will contact them and see everything they have to offer.
