Tactical vest

Postby LION1 » Wed Jul 04, 2012 2:34 am

I have a problem, I have been stuck between these two vests the "Voodoo Tactical Universal Assault Vest" and the "Condor MOLLE Mesh Hydration Tactical Vest". Because I do not want one with a holster attached to it (I already have a holster) and I do not need one with many pockets either. So here is my question which one should I get or can you guys recommend one with those guide lines. Thanks.

I suggest this. http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?c ... s_id=29610 it's an ok plate carrier, I have one and it serves me well. Always go with the plate carriers and not the vests with stuff pre-sewn. This way you can switch up your configuration after you figure out say you would rather have all your mags on your right then on your left.

If you actually looked at what he asked about they're just MOLLE vests.

If you want a hydration bladder to hold your water the Condor one is the way to go; if you plan on running canteens, you may save money on he Voodoo Tactical one.

http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=9003

has places for mags already on it, so not much need for more pouches unless you want to add them. And at this price, it leaves plenty of room for that

or this one, that has space for 6 stanags and 6 pistol mags. as well as a little extra space for other stuff

I recommend chest rigs over plate carriers because they are less bulky, as well as over vests because i think they look a little better. Thats just my 3.5 cents

I was to lazy to google them, and they sounded like one of those vests with pouches sewn on.

That's probably a good sign that you shouldn't be giving people advice.

(sigh) Apparently I need to do the homework for you...
Condor MOLLE Mesh Hydration Tactical Vests retail from $41-$50. This has the integrated hydration bladder so you have your water storage solved.

Voodoo Tactical Universal Assault Vests run around $62. More expensive, no hydration carrier.

FLC's are $20. Cheapest option, no water storage.

I knew the prices of both vests but I was just wondering if anyone had any experience with the vests, I had listed and if anyone had any advice on a better selection. I looked at those suggestions. I am just asking if there were any other options people could think of I did not just look at them and not do the research myself. I do not have much experience with this and I am just asking for help.

Go with something with a hydration bladder, or plan on carrying canteens unless you have a camel bak type pack already. It is rather amazing how much liquid a body uses even when crawling through the brush.
