Muzzle Velocity Reducers?

I'm kinda of skeptical as to weather these actually work or not. I've heard that they were unreliable and unsafe.

Any ideas or personal experiences? I would love to know weather my 430 fps M4 goes CQB with a simple barrel addition or not.

Wrong use of "weather".

They work, but not reliably. The way they work doesn't allow them to work when you fire full auto.

It would be a wiser idea to get a separate CQC gun.

I had that velocity reducer on my Masada and the problem is that the baffles only slows shots in semi. If you're firing full auto the baffles won't reset themselves in time and while your 1st shot is low the remaining shots are near the original velocity.

When I got my CQB barrel for my Masada I picked up a Madbull Crawler Barrel and it worked incredibly well in reducing velocity.

Thanks Android for being friendly and having an educated answer with included experience. I might just order one of those barrels.... I understand barrel replacement for a M4 is quite easy, so I'd be willing to do that if I ever visit Tacoma Tactical. I'm just not a big believer in getting a CQB weapon yet, considering all my local fields are all...well, fields. A gun cant do much out there unless its a minimum of 380fps(yes I understand other factors like BB weight, barrel bore, and quality in this situation).

Always glad to help. What I've seen people that get the Crawler Barrel do is have a complete hopup with it dialed in for their indoor bb's (usually .20g) so that they don't have to fuss with recalibrating their hopup when they are in the field using heavier bb's.
